Subject: Mission to Harris

After assisting the BPA with their Search and Rescue operation for the A.D.M.I.N. known as Korrd the Nestor patrolled Cambridge and New London.

Commander Brinham was contacted by Vice Admiral Howe it was tasked with retrieving a group of scientists and engineers from Harris. Which, as you know, is behind enemy lines. BRRFP HQ believed that a small vessel could get in and out without attracting attention to herself.

The Nestor teamed up with the Mandalorian Dha Phume in New London. The Nestor moved to Leeds and then Edinburgh and Dundee. In Dundee the 2 vessels were intercepted by several KNF patrol vessels, and with the assistance of the Battleship Stirling they were driven off or destroyed.

In Tau 31 we encountered no resistance, which indicates that the Kusari Naval Forces have been streched thin by their assault on Leeds, and do not have the ability to properly guard their convoys.

Harris was reached, and the scientists boarded the Nestor for the trip back to New London. The Mandalorian knew about a jumphole directly from Tau 31 into Edinburgh, which cut the travel time. Upon reaching New London 2 trade vessels were encountered and we ensured that their cargo made it to Planet Leeds safely.

The passengers were handed over to the BPA on Planet New London, who took them to a safehouse.

The Nestor thanked the Mandalorian for his aid, which was, true to form, impeccable. Nestor has returned to Southampton where it awaits further orders.

Commander Bringham out.

To keep story short, never give Farmer pilot chance to fight. That Farmer, Plow of Destiny, shoot down two before even fight began. After he take care of Gra'tuas bomber, he after that shoot down ma'am Hunter Templar. By that time, Naval Force saw opportunity to strike. Our weaken force didnt had chance. Our main target, destroyer Mogami butcher our bombers, in pair with Kusari gunboat Yukawta. I was lucky, to be saved by ion storm. Few moments after I finaly restored ship systems, I saw Kusari fleet, intact. Just like we werent fighting. Bloody awful day.

With no chance to fall back, Kusarian was forced to fight, a duel with our Goody, which volunteer for such mission. After quiet some time, Yori showed at sceen also, wathcing duel between Bretonian hawk and Kusari snake. It was very special moment in Kusari war. First time since I joined Armed Force, and since I was sent to Kusari front, Yori and me wasnt fighting. Infact, we talk, what we might do after war, if we are lucky enough to see that day. Typical for Kusari society, Yori will continue serving Emperor, by teaching new classes of Naval Force officers. I...I...I had enough war for one life time. One day, when all this end, my wife and kid will finaly get to Harris, where we plan to make pig farm. Few days before, I meet one Planetform lady, that promise me that pigs would be able to survive Harris clime after terraforming is complite.
Right. I got little carried away. Goodman, after few hour fight, won his duel with Kusarian. Yori just took his pod onboard and returned back to Stokes.

Not really sure what did happen in Cambridge before I came. Reports were that two Corsairs are atacking our force. Lt. Ramey and Lt.Cdr. Frost were already engaged with those 'Sairs. Seems like I just came at time to collect Lt.Ramey escape pod after he ejected. Good thing that Trotter was around, flying his Challenger, becouse I am not sure would we ever take out that 'Sair gunboat Jaguar. Both 'Sair ships destroyed, or heavly damaged. York group under command Lt.Cdr. Jack Frost was doing regular Saturday patrol in the Waterford area. When, out of nowhere... Kusari fleet show up. Their heading, LD-14 facility and last major Uranium field. This time, they brought some super heavy equipment. Kusari battleship escorted by destroyer, together with regular Chimeras/Bombers as additional support. Frost and his men fought bravely against amazing Kusari fleet. They hold their positions until 7th Derby fleet could gather enough ships. One of ships assigned to 7th fleet was HMS Rodney. Steadfast leaded the way for Waterford planet, where our forces were ambushed. But deadly fire from battleship and destroyer took down two Templars. Lt.Carter, left alone, continued fighting on his own, hoping 7th Derby fleet will get in time. Luck, or bless, or both. 7th fleet arrived right on time. Rodney and Steadfast concentrated on enemy capital ships, Proxy and Ergo, while fighters recived they own targets.
Man could expect one day long battle between two battleships. This one took only six minutes in favor of Armed Force ships. With both of Naval Force capitals destroyed, both Rodney and Steadfast holded fire, not risking any frendly fire. Nelson then lead remaining capital fleet to Stokes, where we disabled Stokes defence platforms, and send Marine team onboard Stokes. Naval Force quickly recovered from loss near Waterford, and rushed reinforcements to Stokes area. Soon, their battleships arrived. Marines, already deleyed by Kusarians onboard Stokes, was forced to return back on HMS Steadfast. 7th fleet then returned back to Derby and Leeds area.
In attempt to retake Stokes, 18 brave Marines lost their lives. In LD-14 Uranium field defence Rodney lost 6 crew members.

Report Start

Started my patrol in Leeds, where I downed a few plucky Kusari fighters who thought they could take me on. I moved into New London where I found a slightly more worthy foe; a Corsair. I found the Corsair near the Salisbury jumphole. The chap had quite a few civilians and police officers hostage, crammed aboard the fighter. After he straight-up refused to release the hostages, he told me I'd have to "Come and get them myself". So I did.
Guncam Shots
Somehow I thought the hostages would somehow be extracted without the destruction of his ship...

Well, back on patrol tomorrow.

For the crown,

MESSAGE BEGINS

Gentlemen, Ladies, Your Majesty. I bring the gravest of news. Our security is compromised utterly. Our communications codes have been broken, impossible though that sounds. Minutes ago I encountered the known enemies of the Crown, Leo and Aeries, upon their ship the Silent Night, flying over Southampton. Along with Lt Goodman of the BAF, we intercepted and halted them, demanding they surrender. As expected, they refused, but knowing their dangerous nature, I requested backup from BAF forces in Leeds and Newcastle over secure comms. The following is a transcript of what happened next:

http://img214.imageshack.us/img214/8877/screen6s.png
http://img408.imageshack.us/img408/8341/screen8.png
http://img301.imageshack.us/img301/61/screen9.png
http://img11.imageshack.us/img11/3466/screen10k.png

As you can see, they clearly had access to our entire communications network, and were reading our transmissions within seconds of them being sent. Never have I witnessed such an unprecedented breach of security. Panicking slightly, I ordered an immediate attack on their ship, in order to prevent such information reaching our enemies, and I can thankfully say that their vessel was destroyed, though unfortunately they both managed to escape in a rocket-escape-pod, and so are unavailable for questioning.

I recovered some software from the wreck of their vessel, and have sent it for analysis by a trusted software engineer. Leo and Aeris are known to have ties to the corsairs and Kusari, and if this information were to reach them, the results would be devastating. I suggest all codes be changed immediately, and security tightened, and I spoke to Commissioner Thorn of the BPA who will do the same for her organisation. However, merely changing the codes is not enough. We need to know how they got their hands on this information and if, heaven forbid, we have a traitor in our midst. Until this is resolved I recommend that nobody is trusted. An MI5 investigation ought to be launched immediately. The event was witnessed only by Lts Goodman, Gilead and Commander Hobart, and they have been sworn to secrecy for the time being, though all ought to be investigated thoroughly. I'm sure I do not need to tell you how disturbing this revalation is, but unless this mystery is solved soon, it could well lose us the war.

HAHA! Ah, today was a good day. Second official day as Lieutenant, and boy do I have a report for you.

First, I signed on to start today's patrol, Lieutenant Galt was already out in about. I left New London to Leeds to grab my Paladin, I was going to need it. The moment I got to the jump gate I heard that crazy immortal guy. Eh, I don't know his name. I came back to actually clean up whatever mess this guy was causing. When I got to Southampton, He engaged Lieutenant McDonald at Kensington. McDonald was in a Bomber, and I rushed to his aid. However, McDonald was forced to eject by the time Lieutenant Galt arrived, I was on the scene during McDonald's downing, as well as Galt.

The fight continued for a few more minutes, I swear, if this guy dueled me it would of been a whole lot easier. However he was after Lieutenant Galt, who was also in a bomber. Good news, Galt downed the target's ship. As seen here

Galt's Second kill

Later on that morning, I was in Leeds like any other day. Except this time I was guarding or well Protecting Admiral Sir Stanley Nelson. He was recently promoted to Admiral, so I felt it was my duty to make sure he lived the first day of him earning those ranks. Lieutenant Ryan Williams just got back from Tau-31 on an Escort mission with two Planetform Inc. ships, we spent a few minutes halting traders here and there before the first psychopath farmer showed up.

He was...going on and on about 'Pokemen' or 'Pokemon'...crap. The guy also refused to pay a 200k fine for disrupting tradelanes, So the Admiral put him as hostile and said "Engage him if he re-appears on scanners.", Guess what happened? That's right, two minutes later the guy appeared on Scanners. I let Lieutenant Williams deal with the chap. and here it is.

Score for Williams Don't know what this lad was thinking but, his 'Pokemon' didn't help him. Doubt they will next time.

After all this mess, we found a guy heading to LD-14, so I escorted him to LD-14, I even fired a missile at Stokes...Just because I felt like it. Anyway's he spent a good amount of time on LD-14 trying to figure out of MOX was illegal in Liberty, I hailed a Liberty Officer and he said he didn't know. So I just said "Alright you can go."

However that's just what happened before we got a Intel from Junkers in the system about a prison liner filled with Cardamine. Their Intel was correct. I halted the chap outside Stokes, and used him as a shield, when it comes to these type of people, I could careless. Anyway's, Admiral Nelson wanted us to have this guy turn around so he could poison Kusari, however he wasn't listening, then he rambled on about having a second life, this was after we got his hull past half way. He went on and on about saying we should kill him, well...We got his hull down to 15%, and he started to fly towards the sun. This was after he shot at my ship, with mining lasers...I kinda over reacted and fired back.

The Junkers and those one Merc guys, along with Lieutenant Galt where around to witness this guy firing on me. The...Mandolare or Mandolore....whatever Merc guy took the guy down, accidentally, and well we cleaned up the mess. So much for the Admirals plan, hell if ask me, Admiral Nelson didn't even care.

Engagement

I warned him to think twice before coming to Bretonia space with that crap.

The day wasn't over...however. I just got done escorting a...robotic miner to Dublin, So I decided to randomly fly around. I flew to Leeds gate, and guess what I found! If you guess the ship "Silent Night" you're right. If you guessed a Molly, No, your wrong.

Anyway's....Nelson already posted Intel about this, I'm sworn to secrecy regarding this engagement. I'll only show the Engagement images.

Mid-Battle
Target Destroyed

So, yeah after that I took a good long break talking with some pilots that I use to fly with when I was in the Volunteer Fleet, then I got back on duty. Fleet Admiral Percy Nelles even joined me in this fight, I was surprised. Hah, we had some, new Molly group running around New London and Manchester, Well I can say this, their not the brightest of the Mollys.

The first guy came out of a Tradelane, I didn't hesitate to engage, He started to flee running to the Southampton Tradelane, which I disrupted, then he sat there....I mean, who sits still when your getting shot at?! Shortly after, his ship pops. Eh, I honestly hope he ejected. My camera was screwing up at this time but I do recall a transmission from the Fleet Admiral saying "Good Job."

That's when a Molly in a Rogue Gunboat starting cruising by Kensington, I don't know what this chap was doing, either he was drunk or he was...drunk, but he started saying random crap on how they'll disrupt trade, Me being alone and waiting for back up to arrive. I engaged him anyway's. Figuring I could do damage before the Bombers arrived, and I was in a Paladin. Well, Bombers arrived a few minutes after I had already engaged the Gunboat. Doing a decent amount of damage to his shields. (Hardly any at all.)

Then, out of my blind spot comes a bloody Werewolf fight! He decides to enter the engagement, and target me -first- not the two bombers. I was laughing, and I said to myself "Bad mistake." Let's just say he wasted half if not all of his Nanobots in the first few seconds. That's when the Admiral shouted everyone on the Gunboat, I switched back to the gunboat, who was shooting me mind you. The other Ship went after the Admiral. Oh, forgot to mention Boris was in another bomber, he managed to actually hit something with his torps! Haha!

Anyway's, the Enemy Gunboat went down and I registered the last shots on it. It tried to repair itself while exploding, Which again I laughed. It was a decent size explosion, sadly Kusari fighters do bigger ones. After that ship went Big pop I turned my sights on the guy that dared to fire on me earlier when I was attacking the gunboat. He ran out of nanobots as he was jousting a bomber, I fired a few volleys of missiles off, about three...and well..he went down also. As I said, I sadly don't have the first one popping.

Gunboat
That other guy

I swear, three Kusarian Ensigns can put up a better fight then these chaps. The Fleet Admiral was even shocked I landed the final blow to the Gunboat, In a Paladin.

Well that concludes this report, I feel sorry for the chap that files these, and has to read the entire thing. Haha.

Signed,

King of the Paladin, Savior of the Prime Minister, Hero to the Bretonian Citizens

Well now, we had quite the fleet out today when I came on duty. Carter and I were given a simple task: Take care of a pair of corsair Praetorians attacking traders in Omega-3. The corsairs turned out to be some of that [OPG] rabble, and we each took one of them. I managed to destroy one, before helping Carter with his. Although we didn't manage to destroy it ourselves, we managed to disable its control system while it happened to be pointing at Omega-3's sun. So: BAF:2, corsairs:0. After rearming on the freeport, we found a Hessian within the no fire zone: [RHA]Shimada.Kambei. However, we also found a corsair just outside the no fire zone. We rushed the corsair, and it entered the no fire zone. After some insults on both sides, the corsair decided to leave the no fire zone and take us on. He was a skilled pilot, but it didn't end well. His tactic of using nova torpedoes was, unfortunately successful, as he hit me while my shields were down. However, thanks to my double edged luck, he was 5m away at the time, with his shields down, and so the obvious happened. I am reporting the loss of my Templar and also making a suggestion that we arm our escape pods with a light laser or two, since despite seeing his pod and him, I was unable to use anything more vicious than a derogatory hand gesture and some mouthed insults. BAF: 3, Corsairs: 1. Carter dropped my pod on the freeport and since there were no Templars available, I sent for Hawkins to bring over my Challenger. He picked me up swiftly and we continued our banter with the hessian, who had remained in the no fire zone. Somehow, one of the corsairs who we had destroyed in the first battle had found himself a new ship. He was running around in Cambridge and I was sent to cut him off, since I was the only one armed with a CD. He jumped to Omega-3, just as I reached the hole. I decided not to engage, and merely chase him out. Naturally, he ran straight for the freeport no fire zone. As we neared the freeport, I was forced to break the no fire zone rulings, although I believe I had a good reason. No, I wasn't shooting at the corsair, I was shooting at the rather large and angry nomad which had arrived. It was approximately cruiser sized, with comparable weapons systems. The corsair, Carter and the Hessians all formed a temporary truce and attacked the monstrosity. The corsair was quickly taken down, leaving me as the only bomber around. We sent for reinforcements, as did the hessians. Another hessian arrived, along with Lt.Williams. The call for reinforcements also reached the Iron Duke and the Sovereign. However, by the time they had fully equipped themselves, the battle was already over, the nomad apparently being allergic to my SN cannon. I think I managed the final shot, although I'm not sure and it was very much a team effort.

Sir, I must apologise for my mistake earlier. I had in all honesty believed, due to your actions in Tau 23, that the Tau Pact was void.

The Tau Pact states that the BAF protect IMG interests in the Taus. We have been doing the opposite, if your actions are anything to go by. You recently participated in a large battle where you identified Outcast forces as friendly. The Outcasts are, of course, the biggest threat of violence towards the IMG in Tau 23 and Tau 29. I had made what I believe was a reasonable assumption that, therefore, the treaty was null and void.

Also, I must be mistaken about the fact that our foes in the Colonial Remnant use IMG vessels. Our intelligence must be misinformed. I do hear they're rather incompetent. Their fighters probably just look very similar to IMG fighters.

Again, I apologise, and shall call off the planned boarding of Cardiff.

Henry out.

I've reason to believe that flying in formation with Outcasts is dangerous. Not only does it harm our relations with the IMG, something not permitted by the Tau Pact, but there is something far more sinister afoot.

Fig 1: Nomads bearing Artifacts and Cardamine.

Artifacts, I can understand Nomads being in possession of, them being alien artifacts, after all. But Cardamine... well... we all know who the dealers are.

Cheers, fellows.

[Comm ID: Admiral Nelson]

However distasteful our reliance on outcast support may be, we are deluding ourselves if we believe that we can win this war without the support of outcasts and Golden Chrysanthemums, particularly considering the fact that the Kusari and Colonial Remnant are now known to be working directly with the support of large numbers of corsair forces. Under normal circumstances we would refrain from being so overt in our dealings with outcasts, but given the circumstances of the Battle of Upper Tau, with our forces vastly outnumbered by the Colonial-Corsair alliance, Commander Hobart felt it prudent to accept the support of several of the more respectable outcast groups, for which he had my full support. If any officers believe we would have been better off declining the assistance and suffering a great defeat rather than the rather substantive victory which we did achieve, they are free to voice their objections, which will be duly noted. As for your concerns regarding links with nomads, I shall be consulting with MI6 to see if they have any information on this matter. That said, I hardly think nomads with cardamine acquired it by walking into a shop on Malta...

Any fears that this action has in any way adversely affected our relations with the Independent Miners Guild, I can thankfully say, are unfounded. The IMG thankfully possess the political tact to realise that in this particular situation we were merely fighting alongside outcasts against a mutual enemy, and in no way condoning nor supporting separate incidents of outcast attacks against the IMG. To the credit of BAF officers present, the outcasts were dissuaded by the BAF from engaging any IMG targets or approaching Java Station, and consequently posed no threat to the IMG at any time during the operation, something which the IMG themselves were well aware of. The IMG are not a militant organisation, and are not in the habit of attacking outcast forces without open provocation where there is no threat to the IMG, hence why I do not believe this as serious an incident as you make it out to be.

As for your interpretations of the Tau Pact Colonel, your statements that we failed in our agreement to assist with the defence of IMG bases in Tau are incorrect. As I said, the IMG bases were never under threat. The fact that we complied with our obligations in the form of preventing an outcast attack on the IMG through negotiation, rather than force of arms, is irrelevant. I must say, Colonel, that I consider it somewhat rash of you to take it upon yourself to interpret the annulment of a diplomatic treaty without bothering to check for confirmation. It is up to the IMG, not yourself, to point out if they believe there has been a breach of terms, and the fact that they have not done so, nor filed any other complaints with either myself or the Foreign Office, would seem to suggest that they do not share your point of view.

Now, I apologise again for misunderstanding, but I'm going by the book here, sir. Following Sandhurst standard procedures, as should be expected. I'm following standard orders.

Again, aside from current rumours of Nomads being users of Outcast related narcotics, I must quote our own Government and Admiralty on our position on the Outcasts. I show the relevant documentation, as well as relevant intelligence reports on Outcast behaviour.

[Image: baf.jpg][Image: OCs.jpg]

Note that the official government position is one of hostility. Reports also indicate conflict between BAF and Outcasts in Newcastle. With all due respect, sir, our elected officials decide where our hostilities lie, and they say they are our enemies.
