Subject: After Action Report, Patrol Dundee 20140824

1. The patrol of two Paladin fighters, my Templar and HMS Tornado, a Churchill class gunboat (//NPC patrol plus me), was assigned to the perimeter of the Falkirk Field. Routine maneveuring took us to Dunblane Station, then swung us south and west along the edge of the asteroid field. Along the way, we salvaged out 2 Kusari wrecks. Unfortunately for the pilots, they had both died before anyone could render assistance.

2. In sector F6, the patrol encountered 2 Lynx fighters escorting a Cruiser (//NPC patrol). Commander Thompson, the Gunboat CO, decided that our superior ability and loadouts were sufficient to cost the Gauls.

In keeping with standard doctrine, our three fighters, myself included, engaged their pair of fighters and destroyed them. I am proud to say that both of the fighter kills credit to me. (See gun cam and N-Net attachments). It is with regret that I must report that our two Paladins were destroyed. Having been in close company when this occurred, I was successful at on the fly Search and Rescue using the appropriate computer program and tractors. Both pilots were given over to Medical on RTB to HMS Stirling.

Having disposed of the escorts, Tornado and I turned in on the Cruiser. My Sunkiller Torpedoes and Debilitator pulsers served well, and we eventually left the Gauls with one less heavy patrol. Tornado gets formal credit for the kill with an assist on my record. Both Gallic pilots, the Cruiser Commander and nine crewmen were retrieved and brought back as Prisoners of War.

3. Due to damage and losses, Commander Thompson ordered us RTB, and we had an otherwise uneventful flight back to the barn.

1. After escort assignment to the trade mission with Kusari, I was in process of RTB to HMS Stirling from Manchester. As I was passing through New London, routine monitoring of the system message traffic showed ship Echidna broadcasting, "I do piracy for fun."

I immediately swung out of the trade lane and went to investigate. Echidna had vessel Alternatus at gun point and was "negotiating" with the captain.

2. At this point, I was jumped by a pair of Corsair snubs. While I was dealing with them, Echidna made snide broadcasts, and I can only assume that the snubs had come in support of her operations.

After disposing of the fighters, I hailed Echidna, stating that she was in violation of Bretonian law, and to heave to. This was something of a bluff on my part as I was in my Templar and was not carrying Marines for boarding.

Echidna then opened fire, catching me at relative rest. While it may have been rash, I immediately went to full throttle and after burners to set up for torpedo runs. There followed a long, but indecisive, fight. Even with an Improved Debilitator, Sidwinder missiles and Sunslayer torpedoes, I was unable to do more than minimal damage. Echidna's shields were sufficient to keep me from inflicting more than minor damage, and I could not concentrate fire because her main batteries were sufficient to take down my shields in one focused attack.

I exhausted both shield batteries and torpedoes, at which point I broke off after ensuring that I got complete sensor readings (//scanned and confirmed a Pirate ID).

3. It is with regret that I must report that Echidna got away. My Templar did not have sufficient fire power to destroy her, and, with consumables depleted, I did not feel it prudent to follow her when she had already displayed the ability to call additional support.

Dutifully,

Subject: After Action Report, Encounter in Transit, Newcastle

1. While on assignment to transport a bomber from Salisbury to HMS Stirling, I encountered Queen_Carina's_Revenge. I was hailed for a prisoner transfer, and went to meet them at HMS MacDuff.

2. During the exchange and reporting, we were assaulted by elements of the GRN. With the able assistance of Queen_Carina's_Revenge and the local defense assets, we took out a pair of gunboats and an indeterminate number of fighters.

3. I feel it necessary to emphasize that Queen_Carina's_Revenge acted at all times with dignity and decorum worthy of a BAF commission. Her captain made me, a lowly ensign, feel a valued and valuable member of the service. Carina, Regina, Imperatrix!

Good evening Sir/Ma'am,

I have recently returned from a patrol in the New London system. After engaging in conversation with civilians, I noticed a freelance pilot in a Paladin Heavy Fighter. This is obviously not a problem, however this individual was armed with Corsair weaponry. I hailed the individual but they fled to the Dublin system; I opened up communications again and was met with no answer. Due to the danger these Corsair weapons pose to the citizens of Bretonia, I destroyed them, along with the pilot and their ship.

>>Here are the scans of his ship: 1 2

In addition, I was included in a training exercise whereby some Armed Forces Intelligence Staff and I were tracking a Bretonian Carrier. I am sure you will be able to contact the personnel concerned; due to their secretive nature I would not like to overstep some line of confidentiality.

Many thanks,

Ensign M Williams

Though this patrol was rather un-eventful, it still needs to be noted.
The patrol was composed of Cpt.C.Brooks, Ens.R.Sharpe, and me Ens.C.Montgomery.
We where patrolling the New London systems when out of no where a unidentified Nomad Vessel appeared I tried tracking it down but it cloaked. With permission I notified all members currently stationed in the New London system to take up point along 3 suspected areas the nomad would uncloak. All followed orders except the carrier HMS-Conqueror who was insubordinate the entire event and risked the lives of thousands. Eventually the Nomad cloaked away for good and did not appear again.
And from there we conducted a small patrol into Cambridge and that concluded our patrol.

Subject: After Action Report, Leeds Raid

1. On orders from Higher, I proceeded independently from HMS Stirling to Leeds by way of the Edinburg jump hole. Command had determined that I should take the bomber that I had brought in earlier.

2. On arrival, HMS Sentinel ordered attack runs on the GRN battleship then in orbit. I landed four torpedoes, but my hits drew the attention of her captain, and they hit me with enough firepower to destroy the bomber in one salvo.

3. I awakened later in HMS Sentinel's sick bay and eventually was transported home.

4.My crew chief and I later determined from the bomber's paperwork that there had been an error at Logistics Command and the BMB-1d shield upgrade had not been performed, leaving the ship with the original manufacturer's heavy fighter shields.

The patrol started with a large assault into the Leeds system. Composed of 2 Battleships with Cpt.Brooks leading 1 battleship and Admiral Hall leading the other. We quickly encountered a Punisher Cadet in a gunboat our elite bombers and Judge.Leam where quick to take him out. From there GRN forces came from all corners of the sector including 2 valors which came when Thunderers battleship was encountering an ion storm. Whilst Cpt.Brooks took down one of the Valors the other did the same to her. And with our capital ship support fading the fighters where picked off 1 by one. Before I knew it I was awoken in a hospital bed. Not sure on what happened to the rest of the attack.

Back in a templar I headed out of SoutHampton to encounter a GRN Fighter I engaged it taking it to a mere 12% of it's hull before HMS-Suprise came in to take over the operation.

After the GRN Fighter fled I was hailed on my way through my patrol. A large wilde fighter and bomber squadron showed up. I was on my way to intercept before I was ambushed by a french Ace named Jean. I engaged him with another less qualified pilot taking him to critical hull level without any repairs he fled and called for backup. This backup proved too much with the likes of Maurice.Cornette GRN top gun showing up even the BPA officers that joined us could not help and I was eventually subdued where I ejected. I write this from my escape pod.
I did not have word how the encounter with the Wilde went I heard we where outnumbered and destroyed in that area of combat too.

This is a relatively minor incident. But anyway the patrol consisted of me and Cpt.Brooks and I Ens.C.Montgomery. The patrol was a brief scan of the New London system in which our goal was to eliminate any threats to the system and catch and law breakers.
First of all we went to Southampton where we monitored the traffic luckily we had no trouble and all transports we encountered where free of contraband and their papers in check.
But when we where about to leave our stations to move onto New London to conclude our patrol. We encountered a "Challenger" class bomber which had been reported as stolen. We offered the pilot the regular fine which he openly rejected with hostile intent showing we had no other choice than to engage him. He did some damage to Cpt.Brooks but we took him down with ease and tractored in his escape pod to take him for further investigation. That concluded our patrol and we docked back to base.
