Good day sirs.
Yesterday, uhm... was a very busy day indeed. First of all, we (Myself, Lieutenant Adama, Lieutenant Shinoda and a trainer) commenced a training session in Salisbury. All went quite good.

Our first bigger action this day was a fight against 5 Mollys. I got a transmittion from a trader, who was robbed by them. Then I picked up Aidan.Houharan on my scanners. I followed him. First he jumped to Dublin. I followed him there to see he jumped back to New London. When I caught him, I saw 5 Mollys, including one gunboat. The others were in bombers. Then Ensign Michael Clay and Lieutenant Lee Adama came to help me. But still we were 3 vs 5. Soon a fight broke out. Unfortunately, Lieutenant Adama's ship was destroyed. Fortunately, another two of our men appeared; Admiral James Hobart and Lieutenant-Commander Williams. Together, we managed to destroy all of the bombers (I personally killed 2), but the gunboat ran away. So first victory...

Not many minutes later, a lone corsair gunboat appeared in New London pirating. He was near Cambridge Jump Gate. When we showed up, it was demanding money from a miner. We stopped him. He opened fire on a Mandalorian, and then we decided to open fire too. He tried to run to Cambridge, but me and Michael were blocking his way. Soon, the gunboat was destroyed.

Then we moved out to Leeds blockade. Everything was calm here but after some time, a junker vessel named Angi appeared on my scope. It ran over the blockade. Fortunately, I managed to stop him and send him back.

Another action was a case of a Liberty gunboat in Bretonia. He claimed he is escorting a transport but yet he opened fire on us. After a short pursuit, he docked with Battleship Norfolk. But then, KNF ships appeared in Leeds. We returned back to blockade.

And now, this is the most important part of this report. We returned to blockade and alarmed the emergency channel. We had 3 KNF ships in Leeds. We started a very long and tough battle. We managed to put out Akira Rokurou, but then, an Ion storm came and we had to pause the battle. After the Ion storm we continued. Our ships were: Myself, Ensigns Michael Clay and Maier Fox, Lieutenants Roger Hans, Kenji Shinoda and Lee Adama, Lieutenant-Commander John Alster and Commodore Robert Jones. After the Ion storm, Jones wasn't able to jump off, so he stayed at Derby. We continued the fight. But we weren't able to kill any of their ships and they were killing ours. One by one our vessels were destroyed, when only me and John Alster were on the battleground. I dedided to help him, but I didn't reach him. His vessel was destroyed too. I was alone but not for long. I used help of HMS-Perilous, Bowex escort vessel Maresh ans Freelancer Star.Fire. We tactically pulled back to Derby. Unfortunately during the pullback, Perilous was destroyed. The Derby opened fire. We kept ourselves near Derby while the KNF were trying to lure us out with insults about "dishonour". Then BPA Lucy Silsbury came in to help us. We were fighning about 30 to 45 minutes there, when they decided to retreat back to Stokes. Code green finally. I don't know if it can be called victory but.... It was the largest battle I have ever participated in, and with luck, I survived. With the help of the other ships, I managed to prevent KNF from raidings in Leeds.

From: Captain Talbot Carstairs
Location: HMS-Ocean, Manchester

This is Captain Talbot Carstairs, commander of Her Majesty's Ship Ocean stationed in the system of Manchester. I would like to inform the Admiralty concerning new a group of insurgents. They call themselves the Sirius Revolutionary Front, or SRF for short. A band of idealistic revolutionaries, seemingly operating from the border-worlds, bent on disrupting and hampering trade flowing through and to Houses. Their goal: to ruin the economy of the Houses and replace all of Sirius with one single government.

Reports, although unreliable, reveal that the SRF mainly operates in the border-worlds dividing Kusari and Liberty, with incursions into both Houses, disrupting trade when they're not busy destroying naval vessels or law-enforcers. They seem to be to be extending their influence, as they've begun to spill over into Manchester. The Armed Forces stationed there have only encountered them twice so far, the latter a hostile one. An assault by their forces, numerous as they were, were attempted with the objective to overwhelm and capture the HMS-Ocean. The attack was repelled by Her Majesty's valiant men aboard the Ocean, inflicting heavy casualties on the Revolutionary side. Their forces pulled back, once the defences of Newgate had decimated half of their assault crafts.

I am certain we'll notice SRF activity escalating in Manchester and any nearby located systems from here on out. The crew of the Ocean stand alerted, ready to beat back any further intrusions made by these revolutionary opportunists.

Captain Talbot Carstairs, signing off.

Transmission Begins...

Lieutenant Roger Reed Hans reporting in,

I'm a bit behind on my paper work, and with these bloody Ion storms, I can seem to retrieve any other data. Once we're back up and operating I'll be able to give a detailed report of what's happened in the past week. Until then...we've been dealing with some rogue Liberty Navy reservists, and it's quite amusing how each and every one of these pilots hails us and says they're waging war on the Kingdom of Bretonia.

Anyways, the pests have been removed for now, who knows what this ion storm will puke up after it's clear. We'll be returning to normal duty hopefully soon.

To Commanding Officer,

I arrived at the Derby several days ago, I apologize for just now reporting in, the unfortunate length of this Ion storm seems to have scrambled my systems.
My B-1290 Templar Is ready and I'll be fully prepared for duty on your order once this storm lets up.

Comm ID: Admiral James Hobart, Ark Royal Great fleet
To: Bretonia Armed Force
Subject: Fleet status and updates

After three months of trials and testing, I am submitting some general conclusions regarding fleet battle readiness, equipment, and condition of our men and women, serving in the 9th fleet.

Newcastle, the quietest sector of the Bretonian Empire. It has become common procedure, that our officers serving in Ark Royal fleet, try to maintain status quo with Molly elements in Belfast area, and they try to keep their hands clean as much as possible.

Lack of major if any action reflects on battle readiness of our combat elements. Compared to, more combat engaged fleets, like the Derby, or Norfolk one, the Ark Royal fleet remain awfully green when it comes to conflict.

The equipment used by fleet staff is in perfect shape, thanks to the maintenance teams, and lack of serious action. Ark Royal, as flag ship, holds the reputation for finest ship in the whole Bretonian fleet, but, the crew still need to prove these bar talks.

Members of the 9th Great really enjoy the present Newcastle situation. Who wouldnt, when news from Leeds are everything but pink.

Following armistice with Molly Republic, the Ark Royal fleet, lose one of the two main objectives in the area.

Security risk in the region is on lowest possible levels, and, there are no other clues, that could change in the near future.

Second objective was to prevent blockade runners, which still remains to be accomplished.

This leads to following conclusion.

Keeping the present fleet in Newcastle with the current present objectives would be waste of tax payers money, and our resources, gentlemen.

Personnel serving in the 9th is around 14 000, with three operational battleships, which present a rather large force, for keeping smugglers at bay.

To sum everything, Ark Royal can redeploy, two fighter wings, and one bomber wing, as soon as possible, to more, combat stressed areas. That should give our men the badly needed battle experience. Further redeployment could provide Leeds fleets with badly needed 9th hardware.

Complete relocation can be done in five to six months, time in which parts of the fleet could be rotated with Derby elements, refreshing our resources in the field.

Waiting further instructions and orders,
9th Great Ark Royal

While on Leeds blockade duty, I recieved a distress signal from the HMS-Ocean, one of our battleships stationed in the Manchester system. Apparently a group of hackers, including the notorious Phate, were assaulting Newgate. Ensign Taylor was escorting a trader carrying military vehicles to the MacDuff, and there were no other personnel available at the time, so I ordered the ensign to head to manchester ASAP and went there myself to assist the Ocean. As I arrived, one of the hacker ships, a bactarian, was destroyed, most likely in the minefield surrounding Newgate, but the other two, both bombers, were still assaulting the Ocean. To minimise risk to the Ocean, and to allow myself more room to manoeuvre, I pursued the hackers out of the minefield, where I was joined by ensign Taylor. A third hacker bomber arrived, and their combined firepower forced Taylor to eject. I was able to take down one of their bombers, and cause some severe damage to the others, but the hackers were joined by yet more reinforcements. However, despite their apparent superiority, they retreated from Newgate and returned to Magellan as Lt. Lancelot arrived to assist.
---Classified Data: Clearance level 3 required. Exceptions granted to Ens. B Taylor, Lt. H Lancelot---
The reinforcements which I was vague about in the main report were, in fact, a hacker battleship. The fact that this criminal group is capable of constructing and maintaining these vessels means that they may be far more organised than we currently believe. The battleship appeared to possess no long range weapons, and was reluctant to enter the Newgate minefield, to which I had retreated. However, it moved close enough to the perimeter of the minefield to allow the Ocean to open fire with its heavy mortar batteries, and after a few blows to the hull, it, and the other hackers, began to retreat.
