Hellew, *static*aps! Bah, those interferences... Now I know the cause, after all. And no, my radio-operators didn't start a strike. Still. It is the Nomads who made me the inte*static*erances. You know, those creepy, slimy creatures just waiting for you to turn your back, so they can stab them. We fought against them yesterday. Amazingly, we fought the Gauls, too. But, the Nomads didn't fight them, it was quite opposite - they were allied. Firstly, the Gauls sent a small, probably a scout snub unit to planet Leeds, which was heavily fortified. They f*static*ght some of our snubs and destroyed two Templars, one of ensign Dzeferson, and the other one of ensign Darrow. Shortly after, we could see two Valors on our radar. They were slowly closing up. Then, like out of nowhere, a Nomad battleship sized vessel appeared! I was stunned when I saw it not shooting at the Gauls, it even formed with them! The Westminster and my Thunderer op*static*d fire at it. However, the Valors blocked my shells from hitting it, so I started shooting at them. The Westminster followed. Both were quickly annihilated. In the m*static*ntime, the Nomad separated and opened fire on our destroyer, HMS-Arulie. We decided to save the Arulie by desabling the No*static*ad from blasting her. The wrath of the two Dunkirks' turrets rapidly showered the Nomad, also known as the Harbinger. It charged into the Thunderer, but her nimbleness allowed *static*er to turn quickly, evade, and maintain fire. Shortly after, we managed to brake trough the Harbinger's thick outer shell. It blew up in a huge, incredibly bright blast. Only two capital remai*static*d in the Gallo-alien fleet, the Lyon and the Vatan, both of the Obstinate cruiser class. A Maltese destroyer, with *static*mbined fire of the Westminster and the Arulie, blasted the Lyon. Unfortunately, the Arulie was already heavily damaged, and her thinned out armor couldn't stand the shock wave. Because all of our ships equipping cruise disruptors were engaged, no*static*ody could stop the Vatan from escaping. Logically, she did. The Westminster and another destroyer, which has just replaced the Arulie, left to find her. During their operation, admiral Davis and what's left of our snubs engaged the Gallic fighters. After some time, only Davis remained, and he was heavily outn*static*mbered, still rejecting my help. The Gauls clearly had to take care about something out of Bretonia, for all of them, but one, left. That one fell to admiral's guns. When the battle was over, I flew the Th*static*derer to Edinburgh jump hole, what was the last sighting location of the Vatan. I found nothing, so I docked with LD-14. My ship wasn't even scratched, although her *static*dio system is still damaged.
