Greetings, sirs.
This mornings duty started with a scramble because of Phantom fighter Umbra.Venator in Leeds. Along with Lt. John Clay we almost took him down, unfoŕtunately he managed to jump to Magellan where we lost him. He is not coming back soon I think, as he got away only barely. One more thing worthy of your attention is that usage of mines is very effective against phantoms. I scored more mine hits in this fight than in all other together.
My duty continued with some clashes with KNF rookies and various other pirates, when an LPI officer John Kimble contacted me. If only I had known what a ride this is going to be! I will sum up all facts in logical order, to spare you the work of sorting out what Kimble was blabling about.
He requested permission to enter Bretonia. Since I know that Libertonian ships need permission from Admiralty, I pointed him there. But I was curious, so I began to ask him about his intentions in Bretonia. He told he is looking for Sarah Connor for three years undercover. He also told that Sarah Connor is his friend and, pardon me, "a healthy female in breeding age". He refused to share any more details so I was starting to be suspicious at this point and our conversation with Kimble turned from friendly talk into an argument very quickly. I was definitely sure that I am not letting this man to enter Bretonia.
But I had a bad feeling that Kimble will enter Bretonia even without permission, whether from Admiralty or me. I have started a patrol around our space and only three minutes later I have found him in New London near planet Dover, he seemed to be a little confused about where he was. At first I tried to be "nice" and I wanted to escort him out of Bretonia. I requested him to follow me but Mr. Kimble decided it is, quote "No deal" end of quote, and he began to run the opposite way, towards Southampton. I chased him down in the middle of Leeds lane, thanks to lane disruption. After a few minutes of his vague shouting at me, quote "YOU BLEW MY COVER!" end of quote, I have decided to take him in custody to Newgate. I did so, because at that time I was not certain about who this man was and I wanted to make sure this man is no threat for Bretonian security. I have seen that he will not comply, so we had a following piece of conversation:
...
Kimble: What is this place?
Me: New London. But I will show you a better place. You will like it.
...
Kimble was enthusiastic for seeing new places because he was "looking for a place for a vacation". After some minutes we finally moved. Kimble followed me nicely all the way to Newgate, he even didn?t tried to run when he saw the minefield. That definitely convinced me that this man was an idiot, pardon the word. Kimble was a bit angry when I told him where he is, but he landed. I was trying for ten minutes to start to question him, but his idiocy overwhelmed me, I was unable to continue the conversation, so I asked the Newgate operator to give Kimble some food and a sound-proof room. Then I have landed too and had a drink in bar to calm myself down.
This concludes the incident. I am also adding the camera shots.
The first photo is my first encounter with Kimble, second is confirmation of identity and third is a picture of him running toward Southampton. The fourth picure is the log of comms and I have taken it when I landed at Newgate to have a rest. It shows the end of transmissions. Unfortunately I forgot to take a photo of Kimble landing at Newgate, but he did land.
That is all. Conclusion is that John Kimble is an idiot and poses a threat to himself and those in his vicinity. I will also contact the LPI headquarters as soon as possible and ask them to take care of him.
Lieutenant Clay out.
