Aubrey awoke in terrible pain.

His head felt like it would explode. He grunted and stumbled from his berth. He felt a little better after a glass of water, but something was definitely wrong.

He began to feel a strange sensation of being drawn towards his Challenger, parked for minor repairs at Southampton. He made his way to the hangars and donned a flightsuit. The pain was building in his head again and it dawned on him what was happening. Nomad infestation!

That dammed pirate he had driven off from Dublin had been carrying Nomad materials. He had tractored them in to take to Cambridge. He had not realised that his hold had been damaged in the fight. The alien stuff must have got into his ship's systems - and now into him! He had to get the filth out of the base!

He leapt into the cockpit and demanded immediate exit. He got it.

The ship was handling alright, but felt, well, weird was the only way he could describe it. The control surfaces seemed to be altering their texture as he touched them.

**Confusion** The thought came into his mind from - somewhere?

"Get out of my head!" he shouted

**Weakness -seek control..**

The pain began to build again

"No you don't!" he cried, the pain almost unbearable.

There remained only one option that his fevered mind could come up with. He began chanting "Carina, Regina Imperatrix" to keep the alien in his head distracted while slowly bringing the nose of the Challenger round to point at the sun.

**Weak human - MINE**

The battle continued as the ship plunged sunwards.

**Wonder**

"Can't stop it......goodbye" were his last words.

The Alien lasted only a little longer..

***NOOOOO!!!***

The sun barely registered the snuffing out of the Challenger.

A man appears on the hologram pad. The hologram is black and white, the connection is bad, and he is injured. His arm has a horrific gash down it, and blood drips through the fingers clutched to it. The man looks up, and begins to speak.

"Please...please, you have to listen carefully. I hope this makes it through to you Admiral... any of the admirals...any of the officers, any of the soldiers. Please, if you hear this, respond... you must listen to me carefully.

Today, at 1400 hours, a man you know as Salazar Kithe met with a woman name Serena Kien. This woman is incredible. She can kill a person in 20 different way's, she can rip a mans throat out with her nails, she can take down a cruiser in her bomber..."

Static shoots through the speakers like a shot through the heart, each second makes the watcher want to do soemthing, anything, to help this man with pure panic in his voice.

"This woman has joined Salazar, and I have found his weakness. For in all of Salazar's wisdom, and age, and cunning, he has alway's been alone. Capture this woman, and Salazar will follow like a bee drawn to honey..."

The man pauses again, breathing deeply. Panic raises in his voice again, and he starts to sob.

"My life will soon end, do me this one favour, and make sure that man is not merely stopped, is not merely killed, but destroyed. Make him beg for his death, make him want it... I am sacrificing my life to tell you this. Please, please don't ignore this... please."

The man stops speaking, and breathes deeply for a moment before closing his eyes. His final words echoe through the transmission, the noise added making them hollow and yet full of power and grace.

"And when the time comes that he comes to you. Tell him that his wife... Sarah... she never died. And she was pregnant. Tell him that he abandoned his son, tell him he left his wife to die. Tell him that the last remaining descendant from his bloodline died to tell you how to destroy the heart he never had.

Call him not vampire! Call him abadoner! Call him lifeless! For he has no heart! He has no soul! And he IS NOT HUMAN!"

The man, who was never named, screamed the last sentence out loud, before a shot rang out. It was so loud it resonated around the room being transmitted to, making each and every watcher jump. The hairs on the back of their necks raised at the chilling scene.

And on the hologram, a woman stepped forwards, holding 2 large blaster pistols. And she stared through the transmission.

And she smiled.

Message to: Lieutentant Commander Jacob Carter
Comm ID: Sancho Panza, TAZ squire at large

Commander Jacob, my beautiful wife Teresa pointed a recent error put forth by yourself in Log Post #317.
You sir, called upon me being a common smuggler, call me a artist, a clown, a squire with
a perverse forwardness but not a smuggler.
Might I point out this "Restricted Goods Licensing, Military Materials, Human Organs, Gaian Wildlife"
Licensing agreement set forth by your very own Home Secretary Lord Anthony Grenville.
Please note how "Black Market Munitions" is very much included on the list.

If I may, I shall now quote Home Secretary Lord Anthony Grenville's response to TAZ's attempt to purchase such a license:

I apologize for that misunderstanding. In these times of war, we must be careful. Out cooperation with BPA was lowered since Kusarians entered Leeds, as we have a lot of our own problems.

I believe no-one even noticed this license, as no one from higher command told me about it after I reported the incident with your transport.

Im hope you forgive me this misunderstanding. Im glad you shown us the license here so everyone from BAF can see. It shouldnt happen again.

Signed,
Lieutentant Commander Jacob Carter of Bretonia Armed Forces

Battleship Derby

Egad. I thought this Kithe chappie was some kind of fictional bogeyman used to frighten children and encourage them to remain silent lest he eat them or render them working class. And now some murderous harridan who associates with the ruthless relic has started offing chaps and broadcasting their demises on our secure channels.

I am requesting the Admiralty dispatch a patrol into the Taus to locate this Kithe and the vicious hag in his horrendous harem.

Top Secret

Report.: I had a fairly routine patrol from Leeds, chasing off a Gaian, the Shadowcast (who was not interested in violence) escorting an IMG bomber (who had lost its way) when I was hailed by a Zoner by the name of Willamson. He requested an escort to Leeds, and he gave me a cryptic message to pass on. This was:

"The Intrepid has landed. Op. Barbapoppa is now complete."

He said he was carrying cargo critical for the war effort.

Forwarded for necessary conideration and action, M16.

During the recent prisenor exchange and fight in Leeds earlier today my scanners picked up some strange readings from the KNF ships that we where engaging...

...this was the only picture i got as the fight started soon after and things got a bit busy. During the fight it seems that that was not the only ship to have these strange things mounted on thier ships.

I would suggest that our "less than obvious" departments have an investigation into this.

Gentlemen. I have just received a transcript of the following transmission from MI5, which apparantly was sent several days ago from an unidentified source:

The information given here appears to present us with a clear opportunity at last to trap and capture the notorious Salazar, who has plagued our nation for hundreds of years. At last, a chance to avenge the brutal murder of Queen Mary I in 356 A.S. is within our grasp. The Chair of the Joint Intelligence Committe has infomed me that SIS operatives are now in close observation of this "Serena" woman, and will be liasing with us to monitor her location with the aim of a strike operation to capture her in the near future.

I suggest we put contingency plans into place for when the time comes to move against Salazar himself.

Today, I was called to duty because of lost corsair cruiser wandering trough our space. He was in Leeds so I got my Challenger into space and looked out for him.

HMS-Kent was nearby, and was offering assistance in case I find him. Aberdeen station soon sent transmission, they saw him on scanners in Edinburgh. I moved there and patrolled the system. Commander Hobart arrived meanwhile, along with HMS-Kent. I soon found the cruiser, either he was mapping the system, or just plainly flying around with no purpose. He didnt response to any threats and headed to Islay. Unfortunately, no one in our group had cruise disruptor.

When he arrived at Islay, I opened fire, he returned it, and docked. Then he undocked, probably to look if we are still there. Well, we were.

After opening fire again, he docked, and turned off all systems so he wasnt showing on scanners anymore. Then we noticed a ship on our backs. Silent.Night it was.

Last time I saw these two, Aeris and Leo, they had Ravens talon, but now, they somehow acquired Rheinland bomber. Obviously wanted to test their new piece of equipment.

We quickly changed to Templars and chased them. As they had police pilots onboard, we demanded them. Silent night was trying to run from us a while, then it somehow *cough* I mean, I disrupted its engines so it stopped.

We had a short talk with them, demanding their surrender and the pilots. They refused and started dropping police pilots to shoot them. They werent fast enough. When I managed to get one, they tried it again. I again caught the pod.

Then again, third pod. I wish I would look closer at the third one. What happened next, brought me into a dangerous situation.

Aeris brought me to the cargo hold, and tied me up. I heard whats going on outside, while she took control of the ship. Commander Hobart was negotiating for my release.

Soon after that, Commader bravely tried to fight them both. Leo in the bomber, and Aeris in my Templar. While the ship was shaking a bit, I managed to roll closer to the pods near me. The two policemen were closed in them. I pressed the button and opened the pods. One of them was unconscious, but the other one was able to release me and help me take over the control of the ship again.

We surprised Aeris, she tried to defend himself. Well, she did. While we tried to hide from gunfire of her gun, she managed to get one escape pod and eject to space, where Leo tractored her back to their bomber. Next time she wont be so lucky!

As soon as I took control of the ship, I turned it against Silent night. He caught a few razor shots and missiles, but well, they together make a good team I must admit, as their flying was superior than ours, despite the odds.

Well, count another destroyed Templar for me *sigh* At least it didnt fell in enemy hands.

Commander Hobart was left alone there, but soon Silent night started to flee. The fact he fled trough Leeds to Stokes doesnt surprise me, he is probably working for them.

I advise everyone should be careful about this duo. They are dangerous and should be eliminated in any way as soon as possible.

Signed,
Jacob Carter, Lieutentant Commander of Breonia Armed forces

[Incoming Field Report]
[CommID: HMS Steadfast]

Today a BAF Squadron under the HMS Steadfast proceeded to hunt down and destroy the Immortal Hunter Dreadnought of the notorious terrorist Salazaar in Leeds. As the enemy attempted to flee, our forces caught up and eventually engaged him 10K from Glasgow outpost. Despite my pleas of humanity a KNF Destroyer decided to dishonour itself by siding with the terrorist and engaging our forces, causing the HMS Steadfast to be crippled and knocked out of the fighting. Thankfully our brave officers pressed the attack and eventually witnessed the destruction of the Immortal Hunter in a huge explosion, though not before Salazaar himself is beleived to have escaped in a shuttle. I do not doubt that had the KNF not interfered we would have captured him - clearly their support for terrorism is sickening in the extreme.

His final transmissions threatened to wreak a war of revenge and murder against Bretonia. I advise that all security services should step up their counterintelligence security to protect against any covert terrorism. If he no longer has his dreadnought to menace us with, he may resort to other more personal and extreme measures to terrorise us. We know he targets civilians. We cannot leave our population in danger.
