Good day sirs and madams ,

Today we made our first appearance in Omega-9, and we we're greeted by an angry Corsair fleet. 1 Legate dreadnought, 1 Murmillo class battleship, 2 cruisers and several fighters were our opposition. Our capital ships led by the HMS-Maltida were able to destroy all of the Corsair capital ships. Our fighter wing, led by me, was able to take out each of the corsair fighters. It came at a cost however, each of our fighters except for myself and Commander Acker were shot down. Luckily we managed to recover the pods and make it back to Omega-3.

Next time we should show up with more force.

Honorable Admirals of the Board.

Yesterday I was called to support the HMS Holfirmth and the HMS Ardent near Freeport 1 in Omega 3. The situation was unclear to me, my only information was that multiple unregistered capitaly vessels refused to be escorted out and the situation was close to escalating into a firefight.
When I arrived onboard the HMS Elephant I found two Zoner capital vessels, one of wich was part of the [TAZ].
This one was willing to be escorted out, but a Juggernaught class vessel, wichs papers identified it as [ZMCS]-FP-66|Arcadia, refused to cooperate at all and began to threaten our forces, eventually opening fire on my ship. We brought the ship down, In self defense since we saw no other way considering the firepower it fielded against our vessels.
After this a representant of the IRG turned up, trying to solve the situation but he was a bit late. Nevertheless he didnt allow the RHA fighter that turned up earlyer, probably just to provoke, to dock wich lets me hope we can resolve the problems with the Freeport in a mutual way.
I am very suspicious though regarding the Zoner colony ship and its intentions. I assume it was there to provoke us to shoot Zoners, wich we of course dont do.
I will investigate if this ship or group appeared on other occasions and about their motives.
I later escorted the [TAZ] vessel to Cortez, where it left our space.
Also I want to add that our vessels on the site before me acted exemplary. They kept calm and didnt provoke unecessary incidents.

A complete copy of the relevant Logs is attatched.

Attack on the Elephant: #1

Nomad Battle at FP1

I, Ensign Charles Victor XII of the Bretonia Armed Forces, am here today to report some drastically unnatural events that happened today while I was on patrol in the Omega 3 system.
I will quote the details of the local communication channel directly that I managed to recover from the Black box of my ship for the exact details of what happened today are too radical to be put down into words.

After having a drink while my "Challenger" was repaired, I undocked from Freeport 1 to find the humongous "Nephilim" class Zoner Mobile Colony Vessel parked right outside. The ship was loaded with survival commodities such as food rations, oxygen, water etc., something you would expect any normal vessel of this scale to have. But its presence in the system and that too the Bretonian space seemed a bit disturbing so I went on to inquire him about it.

His attitude seemed really off normal as he did not give me the regard as an officer of Bretonian Armed Forces, often laughing in a mocking way and such but I let it slide for the moment, for a Hessian cruiser had been reported in the system. I searched for it from lane to lane and checked all the possible jump hole locations but he did not show up on my scanners, at which point I decided to return to the Freeport 1. The captain of the Nephilim: Arcadia reported that the Hessian cruiser allegedly had a cloaking device installed and was last seen going towards the Omega-5 jump hole. Having checked that route already I proceeded towards the freeport in case the Hessian was still in the vicinity, just waiting, but once I returned there I heard some very unusual chatter in the local communications channel. I can only quote the contents to prove it's unusual nature:

"Yes, yes we will go back soon. *Undefinable Voice* ..... . Dross: They are safe believe me nobody can find them."

The signal emanated from none other but the suspicious Nephilim.
It was really random but creepy at the same time, I felt a sense of insecurity in this zoner and went on to inquire his purpose further. He exclaimed that it was of no concern for the Bretonians but contents seemed far too eldritch and I couldn't just let him be.
Once again the same problematic talk happened:

"No you cant say Hello to them, just ceep calm we will return soon.*Unenviable Voice* .... .Okay, one more day ?!"

It had become evident by now that he was hiding someone of something in there that wasn't supposed to be in the system itself. On further inquiring he finally revealed that the thing or person originated from the Omicrons and exclaimed that what belongs to Omicrons stays there. But he had already brought it into the very Border of Bretonia and the only thing I could think of Omicron origins that would not be otherwise permitted a clear entrance into the system were: Corsairs and..Nomads. But Corsairs could easily enter through the jumpholes so I had pretty much verified that what he was harboring in there was none other than Nomads and was being manipulated by them.

His personality at this point seemed too naïve or just manipulated so he would protect these "friends" of his. I did not want to stay alone with him for too long but a relief came across my mind when I got a message from a Battleship captain from the reserve fleet saying that he will be in the system soon. I went on with my interrogation of the zoner.

The Dunkirk arrived soon but not much long after a Hessian Bomber undocked from the Freeport and started talking about Bleeding us at which the zoner captain warned that the zone should stay free of any fire or they will have to face him as well. The bomber flew around for a while and a Daumann assault vessel came from the east and asked if it was okay to destroy the bomber. I was still progressing with my interrogation of the zoner as the Bomber had not yet fired any shots but out of Nowhere a fully armed and armored Hessian "Jormungand" class Battleship appeared and it started to seem like a fight was about to erupt.
The bomber went to the side of his captain and soon shots start being exchanged, the Nephilim, as he had warned before, opened fire as well and seeing no other options, the Jormungand captain fled.

But while the battle with the Jormungand was still going on a very weird signal was received by everyone present in the system at that time. A nomad had entered the system and threatened to assault all the humans.

It started with one Nomad fighter class ship/being but was soon followed by a bomber and two Battleships. I was contacted by the Commander Paul McKinely who was in his Liberty "Archer" class cruiser: HMS-Holmfirth and was en route to Omega-3 to assist with the Nomads.

As evident from the communication log, a lot of confusion ensued as the nomads entered the system. I would say that it had something to do with their telepathic abilities but a lot of it was just random confusion as well. It just a took while for the Bretonian vessels and the Hessians to stop fighting but soon as this hulking Nomad Battleship showed up, all guns turned to it. The ship…creature..thing was bigger than the zoner mobile colony and had enough firepower to tear apart the Dunkirk which it eventually does.

At this point I start to get a severe headache and some blurry flashbacks which I reckon include my lost memories. Some part of it showed the images of a man with no face doing godly things like crumbling and remaking my little sister who called him 'grandpa'. The girl was literally shattered like glass dust and remade into a living human at no effort at all. I would like discard this one as a fantasical hallucination but the next couple of scenes were more realistic. They showed my flying the Roc bomber and entering the California system with a Bretonian fleet consisting of several Battleships and even more cruisers ready to assault Liberty that we were at war with. It was blurry the way I remembered it but this interaction with Nomads really cleared it up. What I thought earlier was a huge vessel with thin wings; suggested to be an Umbrage by Cuttingham was in fact nothing of the sort. The short thin wings were just my imagination and the ship itself was quite streamlined like the Liberty siege cruiser but heavily modified for more firepower and the forward gun now fired a payload which depicted black hole like properties when it struck. It was just I and the Bretonian Paladin that went ahead for scouting and we were ambushed by this ship. It had been cloaked just outside the California gate, waiting for us. I remember a white projectile coming at me and the memory went blank after that.
I don't really know what to make of it, what really happened and how I ended up in Manchester and the history changed to where no war ever occurred between Liberty and Bretonia.

Continuing the report..

The huge battle continued and there were flashes and explosions everywhere. I launched Incapacitator and Nova torpedoes and the cruiser and Battleships with as high frequency as I could. HMS Holmfirth managed to destroy the cruiser class nomad ship/being but suffered heavy damage which was later chipped off by their Battleships.
Soon the Hessian Battleship returned to help against the Nomads but just moments before it arrived the zoner Nephilim had been destroyed by the concentrated fire of the Nomad battleships. I managed to see the end of one of the Battleships but was locked on by the other and a very agile Nomad fighter both of who dispatched my ship off.
System reports indicate that the Jormungand managed to dispatch the remaining Nomad mothership which was already heavily damaged.

Summary and casualties:
A lot of this made no sense and was something you don't see in your day to day life. The Zoner Nephilim had something that the Nomads wanted back, might it be possible that the thing or things or beings may not be of direct harm, the fact that they attract such powerful enemies makes them a threat. "[ZMCS]-FP-66|Arcadia" must be treated with caution in future for whatever they wanted back, they didn't get it and said to return again with more force.
There was a presence of another vessel with the ID: "Morph'Eus", the name suggests its alien origin but no interaction was carried out with this vessel for all the commotion that had been happening at the moment. It did not attack anyone either so my assumption is that it was one of the things being harbored by the Zoner captain Arcadia but I could be wrong.
At any rate, it is now highly advisable to stay at high alert while passing through or staying in Omega-3 system.

Eh up there chaps! I'm alive !! Got sent to Leeds today, didnt even know who was the enemy, assumed it were the froggies.... met some Casties shooting up commander Grahams ship. and the froggies were shooting all that pastry they are so proud of at them instead of us. I wanted to go frog hunting, but the commander requested cover, so i defended his ship. There were a few of our fighters too. we lost Victor first , but that buggers deserved it for ramming me ship in a lane, before ,in London. Had to take a completely new one god save the BMM for making quality pods. And the Queen. for being an honourable and righteous ruler. So we lost Victor and some bloke whose ship was called Tea-something. hurt me morale as I dont like losing tea, but i kept on fighting when everything was lost, like a true Bretonian. Eventually we shot them al down with the froggies help (blimey, those blokes can actually be useful sometimes). then they all wanted to have a go at me, but then most of them went to the sun corona for no apparent reason and burned down like their pastry when they get too busy making orgies with each other and forget its in the oven. Only Ambre Lachance remained, and some Corsairs. Commander Sutton was trying to establish communication with that wench while I had to fight against the three Corsairs. But using my superior training and skill at arms ,, I was able to overcome the aggressors. And their typically Sair sense of honour (they dueled me. sometimes.). The 1st one was a bit unlucky, got hit by a mine and then a missile i think, in a Centurion. I detonated the 2nd one's mine right into his muddy face with me last CD. The last mine I dropped destroyed the last one, but also me guns. Had to take a whole new set aboard Southampton. at least me ship was worth fixing, but barely. Captured a barrel of rum from one of them as a trophy, though. I've been drinking me trophy just now to alleviate the pain. Hit me head off the cockpit so many times when so many not really empathetic looking things happened to have an irresistible affection for me ship. Sutton told me to drink tea instead, but i dont have the dosh for that. A lieutenant's salary is so low.

PS: Have no idea what happened to Sutton, Graham, a Gateway fighter and a BHG fighter that were also there. They were left with Lachance, but i guess she fled or offered them free "services" in exchange for passage. I wish I could stay there, but me ship was barely holding together...

Hector Beltran down
Some random Sair down (wish he was alive so I could thank him for the bots)
Cesar Gutierrez down (bugger costed me all me guns, wish i could kill him again)

We were victorious!

I was called to assist the Lazarus, a Dunkirk, and the Holmfirth, an Archer, in Omega-3. They were fighting the Nidhogg, a Jormugand, and the Eclipse, a Vidar. I was also notified of possible other enemies, especially with the Zoners there, who are known for their dirty ways of pretending to be peaceful until they have a perfect shot on someone.
Considering that the Hessians engaged our forces within the Freeport 1 no fire zone, they did. Following the glorious entrance of the Nephillim called Arcadia into the battle, the Eclipse cloaked right before they would be destroyed, and the Nidhogg escaped us, taking all the shame with them. We pursued them until the Omega-5 system. We met a Corsair cruiser along the way, whose name I cannot remember, by the Planet of Sprague, but we decided not to split our forces and take them down later instead.
When we returned from the chase, they were not there, so we proceeded to the Freeport. The area was safe and there was no sign of them. Our capitals left back to the Norfolk and I stayed to monitor the area and chatter with the Zoners. I was, however, prevented from that, as a Hessian fighter coded Viking appeared on my scanners. Using the same voice the Nighogg's captain had, he began, in his horrid accent, to scream profanities about my internal organs. I took it as taunting, but I stayed disciplined, as my ship was a bomber, and his a fighter. Meanwhile a mercenary flying a fighter called the Idris offered his services, and the Zoners were fine with it, as they despised this scourge being at their station. The captain of the Arcadia decided it was an excellent time to leave now, so the Idris failed within seconds. Viking then fired at me without any regard to the no-fire zone whatsoever. Ensign Charles XII Victor joined me at this time, but so did the Eclipse return, and join the Hessian. We were victorious, but alas!
All I could do was go to Aland, land, and call for heavier support. And hope. And put something hard over my nails.

An average engagement at Freeport 1. One of numerous battles in the no-fire zone.
Heavy units were called to Omega-3 yesterday. I took my flagship, the Thunderer, from Sprague, and headed to Freeport 1. Unsurprisingly, my lookouts spotted the Eclipse and a Hessian flying an Odin called the Viking. I would have attacked the Eclipse at once, but Ensign Victor, who was courageously fighting them alone already, appeared to have the loadout of two Nova torpedoes, both of which detonated at an asteroid right next to his ship at that moment. He is alive, but an inquiry of who approved that loadout should be done.
As our other two ships, a Zoner Osprey and a Bounty Hunter fighter, were busy fighting Viking, no one was able to stop the cruise engines of the Eclipse to recharge. They escaped.
Nevertheless, that allowed me to save the two ships from the Hessian, who had rendered the Osprey gunless. He left, but said he would be back.
I did take him seriously, so I called for backup. I received the Ardent, a Crecy, and two BPA Challengers. Not a long time passed until we had the Jormugand called the Nidhogg on our radar, and the Eclipse with them. I sent the Ardent to fire at them before the Eclipse reached their turrets' range. This they did with success, inflicting some shield damage before the Nidhogg fired at us, and then switched to the Eclipse in order to keep the heavy cruiser from using all their damage potential on the Thunderer. My ship suffered damage and kept withstanding it, but the Nidhogg could bare no more. The crew, instead of evacuating, stayed on their position, and there was fire coming out from their turrets until the very ship ceased to exist as one piece. I wish we had such brave men at our disposal, but I lament the needless loss of lives, as their bravery accomplished nothing. The Thunderer was still afloat, so barely that it was the Hunter's SNAC that saved us. The Hunter's name was Jango Fett, and he should be awarded. The BPA ships were kept as reserve, and did not engage, but I am sure that they would have come to our rescue as well if they were ordered. The Ardent were still fighting the Eclipse, but they too soon scored a victory.

I am surprised by the Hessians' aggressiveness towards the Zoners, and I believe the Zoners should be informed. It should also be investigated what is the reason of this. Maybe the Hessians know something we do not.

I was sent a distress call from a DSE Trader "Kusoakuma" about a "Vidar" class Hessian cruiser with ID 'RHA-Frankfurt' lurking around the lane to Cambridge jump gate from Freeport 1. I took my "Challenger" bomber and set out from Battleship Norfolk in search of the enemy. He was found engaging two freelancers two clicks away from the jump gate. I ordered him to stand down and leave the system but the fight carried own, not wanting to lose such helpful freelancers I engaged him as well. Finding himself outgunned the cruiser began to flee but so did freelancers who had been engaging him, on the ground that they were too badly damaged to carry on. I continued the pursuit on my own but soon was contacted by 'HMS-Destroyer.Firefly', a Crecy who said he will be providing backup soon. The cruiser kept trying to flee but my disruptors prevented that from ever happening.

Conversations with him made him claim that he had been hunting nomad activity in the system but Bretonian pilots' and Civilian Pilots' pods in his cargo hold spoke differently. There might have been some sort of truth in his claims as he just kept retreating, heading towards the Omega 7 gate at thrust speed, the best that he could do. I demanded a release of the officers and Civilian Pilots, he was reluctant at first on the grounds that they were infected but eventually gave in and I tractored in their pods. A few minutes after he had jumped to Omega 7, the Crecy came into my scanner range, seems he had some navigational issues on the way.

Summary: The Hessian was removed from the system but not eliminated, not that I complain, either way safety of Omega 3 was restored.

Good day, BAF DIS

Today we haven't only inflicted another blow to Mollies but to Gallics too. After this standard report I'll tell you all.

After this report I have to advise yours that the Battleship Essex has spotted a GRN scouting party somewhere in the system. The location was in E-2 eventually. The GRN scouting party, composed by some snubs was spotted and their destruction led to the discovery of a enemy large assault fleet, composed also by more Gallic battleships. We've called more possible men. The HMS-Hermes managed to hold off the gallic battleships, some members of my escort and some freelancers enemies snubs and gunboats. A large wave of only capital has complicated the life of our snubs that I was forced to retire and entrust to my friend that came to the rescue with the HMS-Oxford. When he's arrived the assault finished with our victory and he managed to cleanup the zone from enemies and allies escape pods, returning at least to the Gwent fleet.

Yours sincerely,
Lieutenant Sid Fire

Good day sirs and madams ,

The other day Admiral Hall desprately called for assistance on the HMS-Sovereign, two Valor class battleships were putting him under pressure. I and an Overlord by the name of which I cannot remember moved in to assist the HMS-Sovereign, unfortunately the ship was still severely damaged. However we managed to destroy the Valor Dreadnoughts with minimal damage to the HMS-Enterprise.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Officers, Crewmen, Pilots. It is that time again where we must celebrate our fellow servicemen and women for their endeavors to make Bretonia safe again, and those who have earned the eye of their commanders. Today, we have a number of promotions to hand out.

Firstly:

Deckhand Mortell, A. You are a recent addition to the Merchant Navy's Roster, but Commodore Jones speaks highly of you. We believe it is time you took a more senior role in Merchant Navy affairs, including organisation, and deal brokering. You will be given further instructions in due course. Congratulations Shipman

Ensign Winter, J. Admiral McIntire has been pleased with your progress. Keep it up, we'll make a fine officer of you yet, Lieutenant.

Ensign Steiner, A. It appears you know the book front to back. This is a good start. Look to your officers for further training if you wish to proceed further. Congratulations Lieutenant.

Ensign Cuttingham, A. We are pleased with how you are coming along. With further training, you'll become a fine officer, I'm sure. We award you the rank of Lieutenant.

Ensign Victor, C. You've proven yourself in a number of scraps, that's good. Polish up on your training manual if you wish to proceed further. You are awarded the rank of Lieutenant.

Lieutenant Fire, S. You seem to be getting on nicely, this is good. We feel that with the rank of Lieutenant Commander, you will learn the importance of your responsibilities as an Armed Forces Officer. Look to your senior officers for advice if you wish to continue. Congratulations. Check in with the Quatermaster for Gunboat availability.

Lieutenant Commander Talbot, H. The Admiralty Board are pleased with how you are getting on. We have come to the conclusion that your experience in the field is vital in the continued training of our newest recruits, therefore we have decided unanimously to award you the rank of Commander. Congratulations, you are working your way up the ladder marvelously. Check in with the Quatermaster for Destroyer availability.

Captain Brennan, N. You have served the Armed Forces for some time now, and the board has been discussing your future. We feel there is still room for improvement, small items that must be polished before you find yourself at the head of the fine tuned machine that is the Bretonian Armed Forces. For this reason, I have decided to appoint you Executive Officer of the 5th Defence Fleet, Headquarters on the Battleship Suffolk. There, you will be placed under my direct supervision, and will be given the opportunity to assist in the running of one of Her Majestys Great Fleets. This is an opportunity to lean, and to expand your skills, all things I look for in members of my Admiralty Board. Good luck Captain.

To all the Officers named above, congratulations. Your stellar service to the crown is an example to lead by. I am proud of you all. To others, look to these few as inspiration, learn from them, and you too may find your name posted here.
