G'day Ladies and Gentlemen of the High Command

I'm sure you already read Lieutenant Kerr's report about the first gallic attack yesterday. Well, there were several more later on that day.

I had to take a break on the Derby and the engineers to take a look at my Templar's engines. they had been runnning on 120% throughout the whole battle. Those gallic bombers are fast...
After the engineers had cleared me for launch i remained at the Derby for some minutes following protocols. Luckily i did, just as i wanted to head off two bombers came through the gate somehow. The fight started nearly immediatly. One of the bombers was the design i had seen several times already so i decided to destroy that one first. It exploded minutes after they jumped. The other one was a strange design i hadn't seen before in my life. Unfortunatelly we can't use any parts of it, because even though i tried not to damage any critic parts and make the pilot eject the bomber was cought in a stray shot of the Derby and completely vaporized. There are not even any wrecked parts left.

Throughout this while fight my ship hadn't been damaged so i carried on to Dublin were Essex had gotten some reports about a gallic fighter force breaching the perimiter. As i arrived on scene Captain Winter was already there, just heating his weapons. Commodore Lawrence was also on the way. We three took the apart easily. Unfortunatelly two could escape. One was destroyed in Dublin and two others tried to get away via New London. We followed them and destroyed one on the way to the Edinburgh Jumpgate, the last one just wanted to activate the gate as I hit it with a mini razor and at the same time Derby launched a wall of anti-snub ions and the frog was killed.
The day continued like that and it just takes too long to recap everything. It suffice to say that the frogs lost around 10 snubcrafts that day while we didn't lose one single ship.

Just as i thought the day was over Corsairs showed up in Dublin, just doing 'business' according to them.
Captain Winter and I witnessed an extortion robbery and after a short chase we wanted to take them to prison. A molly appeared and was eiger to shoot the sairs, so we let them decide if they wanted to face probable death or lifetime ion prison. They chose the Molly and after one died by his hand they really wanted to engage Winter and me.
They should have taken the prison [laughs]. The one I fought became space dust after minutes. Seeing that all his friends died the last remaining one surrendered and agreed to prison. Winter and I escorted him to Newgate where his daily life now will look completely different.

Commander Jonathan Sinclair

[font=Garamond]Greetings admirality,

Barely anything noteworthy could be recorded on today's patrol at the south front in Cambridge, however, there was a trio of Corsair bandits who were spotted breaking the law by unashamedly disrupting a tradelane in said system and been dealt with accordingly in a short, lossless fight. Our squadron consisting of me, Lieutenant Kerr, Ensign Moore and a proficient bounty hunter dealt with the three Corsair "Titan" fighters in an efficient manner.

On another note, Kerr was quite surprised about the generosity of a trader who was passing by prior to our engagement with the Corsairs. Well, the little 'donation' dedicated for a 'good cause' covered parts of my expenses for the payment of the admittedly helpful bounty hunter.

Oh yes, we had a brief training session in Salisbury prior to our flight to Cambridge, I must admit, the new Dragoon is a very neatly accomplished piece of work. I consider adding such a ship to my inventory, too. Who knows.

****TRANSMISSION END****
The crew of the 13th Northern fleet ship HMS-Argosax have been carrying out detailed analysis of the Gallic "Valor" Battleship coupled with the recent acquisition of classified GRN| design documents obtained while on a recon mission in Gallia.

Have revealed three weaknesses / design flaws that could render their Valor Battleships vulnerable to attack and thereby complete destruction. If a Dunkirk captain is skilled enough to take advantage of such weaknesses! May even allow a Dunkirk to a destroy a Valor single hand-idly.

I fear the prying eyes of spies and potential saboteurs who may get hold of the details of this report and relay it back to GRN hq. Which would be a disaster for HM Forces.

So if you would proceed to add our vessel to the Secure BAF S.K.Y.PE Channel, we can discuss this matter further.

Subject: Gallic Battleship Leeds & Molly Assaults, Dublin

Good Evening Gentlemen,

Interception One - Gallic Battleship

A few hours ago I was returning from a brief assault on Edinburgh, under the command of Commander Ree -onboard the HMS-Braveheart(A cruiser). While on our route back we recieved a call from Wyra informing us that a Gallic Battleship had been seen within the Leeds system and he required help taking it down. We promptly altered our course and made our way through Newcastle and onto Leeds. Within a few minutes of reaching Planets Leeds Wyra (armed in a Bomber) relayed the location of the Battleship, remarking that it appear to be attempting to use the sun to fend him off.

By this time I was abit of ahead of the HMS-Braveheart and spead off to intercept the Battleship, now within visual range. By this time the HMS-Pestilence (A cruiser) had appeared and was also opening fire on the battleship. I (armed with a bomber) joined in and assisted both ships in the assault of the Battleship - followed closely by the HMS-Braveheart.

The fighting continued, with us on the winning side, the battleship lost its spine and attempted to retreat using the sun as cover. Noticing this Commander Ree began to take his ship around to the nearby trade lanes and attempted to get his ship up to the Edinburgh Jump hole - knowing that this was a possible destination of the Battleship.

As this was going on myself and Wyra were forced to circle around and pursue the Battleship at a distance, because of the suns glare. Realising we would loose the race at this rate we hit our engines into cruise and sped off towards the trade lanes, up to the Edinburgh Jump gate to join the HMS-Persistance, who had broke off and had, similar to the Braveheart, made off for one of the other suspected destinations of the Battleship - the jump gate.

Our assumption was right and as we approached the jumpgate the Gallic Battleship came into sight, myself and Wyra broke off from the lane and began to hit its from the side, while the Persistance moved down from the Jump gate determined to halt its advance.
As quick firefight ensued which ultimately resulted in the Battleships destruction.

Interception Two - Molly Hostiles

After the Battleship destruction we began to head back to Planet Leeds however as I approached the trade lane i recieved a transmition from the Nostormo.

The message stated that the ship was under attack by some Molly ships and in responce I broke off, along with Wyra who was following behind, to get a visual - and to offer a quick responce - on the molly ships. It became apparrent as we appraoched the Essex, the last known location of the Barge, that it was in trouble. The culprits, a Molly Gunboat by the name of Space Lion and a Molly Bomber by the name Sarah Bonny. I immedeatly moved in and engaged the to assailents doing my best to direct the attention away from the barge. A few moments later Wyra appeared and moved into assist. Our attention focused on the gunboat we bit down and fought on. The fighting continued until finally the Gunboat lay a smouldering wreck. Near he end we must have hit a critical system as the gunboat appeared to loose control of its weaponary.

Just after the gunboats destruction the HMS-Braveheart appeared through jump ate and moved in promptly to defend the Barge. While the gunboats smouldering wreck floated there we turned our attention to his friend who was in no Mood to give up and charged us. I quickly began facing him in a few jousts, along with Wyra who supplied some covering fire, however the fight only lasted about a minute before i managed to cram a well deserved SNAC down her throat.

Certainly a satisfying day. One less Gallic battleship, and two less Mollys to worry about. Only a few thousands more to deal with!

Ensign Wayne Johnson reporting in...

It seems that we've got another day of fight against the royalists, maybe quite full of surprises. In the morning, we've got an encounter against a small squadron of lynx, gallic royal navy very heavy fighter, that was causing a lot of trouble against traders and civilians around Planet Leeds. In other words, they were raiding, doing an disgraceful act of piracy against helpless people. Me and Sean.Otus, a very skilled armed forces pilot went on to deal with the problem. They immediately tried to run, but we managed to chase them until near the Dublin jump hole. There, one of the fighters, used an advanced cloaking system, and soon he disappear. After a few moments, he went back with all his equipment full. 1 molly and 1 council bomber brought us help in order to finish them up, but another royalist gunboat joined the fight. The molly and council went down, me and Sean being forced to brake up and run away. I tried to dodge as much fire as I could, but that royalist called Jeffroi.Goudreau was having an incredible aim, so he managed to shoot me down and Sean got my pod.

In the evening, later on in the day, I jumped in fight with Commander Sinclair and Admiral Piett aboard the Royal.Sovereign, and some kusari exiles to repell another royalist attack. We managed to take down several fighters, but lastly, me and 2 exiles got into the LD-14 field where we got outnumbered by 5 Navy fighters. We had to run and I managed to get 4 of them on my tail. After enormous evasive maneuvers I managed to get close to the Royal.Sovereign, but I got shot down. Again, Jeffroi.Goudreau shown an immersive ability to hit the target, the other 3 fighters not being able to hit me at all.
In the end, I can say that it was a bad day, I've lost my fighter 2 times, but still we managed to down more than 5 royalist ones. Next time I will try to improve my way of facing the opponent and I will do my best not to get circled by 4 enemy fighters.

Lieutenant Wayne Johnson reporting in...

Yesterday, the Leeds system was put under a heavy siege of capital ships, both gallic and corsair. First of all me, Lt.Cdr Alex Clarke and a molly bomber managed to intercept a Valor that was trying to fall back to Edinburgh. As far as I could saw, it was trying to bomb the Stokes Station and the Nagasaki. Anyway, in about 3 minutes, right when it was preparing to jump to Edinburgh, we've purged a last salvo of novas which burn trough it's hull, making it rip apart. Still we've got 1 loose, the molly bomber being caught in the blast.

Later on in the day, our armed forces task force with the aid of the Ronnin kusari exiles and 2 Bretonia Police officers we managed to intercept and ambush a Gallic Royal Police Cruiser escorted only by 2 fighters that was heading to LD-14. It's reasons are quite unknown, but I can tell that it might have tried to destroy the refinery. The cruiser tried to escape but right when it was about 10k to Battleship Castrates we've got a final blow on it.

In the evening, a strange Corsair Legate ECG|COL-Revenge was trying to hit Planet Leeds hard, but it has been stopped by me, commander Ree of the HMS-Bravenhart and yet again inspector Nathan. It didn't last long until the dreadnought hull ripped apart and exploded with a huge blast in the Leeds West Leeds Smog Cloud.

Topic: Patrol report

[font=Fixedsys][color=#ddaa22]

Patrol report, haven't done it in a while... Anyway, those are the results of my patrol yesterday:

After launching from Derby in my Challenger, Norfolk contacted me to inform about Corsair Legate roaming in Cambridge, I instantly plotted course to Cambride Jump Hole, funny thing is, the Legate jumped to Leeds just as I was about to use it myself, I gave him the chance to flee if he would hand over our pilots, to which he answered by opening fire, predictable.

What was more interesting however, is that two mollys, namely Blodwyn.O'Driscoll and Sarah.Bonny jumped out of said jumphole claiming they were chasing our friend, they flew a Barghest bomber and Werewolf VHF, since it would literally take forever for a lone bomber to take out a Legate, we joined forces and proceeded to SNAC the hell out it's hull.

The corsair tried to escape to Omegas via Dublin, but he was destroyed more or less 3k away from the jumphole. I retrieved all pods from the wreck, including our pilots and some mollys, whose I exchanged for some of our pilots held by those two mollys I just joined forces with, after that, we parted ways.

About 5 minutes later, a Kusari explorer along Roc bomber flew by talking out loud about some kind of business, I immediately got suspicious due to fact that tose two ships have an awful tendency to get into hands of independent pirates. As you can propably imagine, when I stopped them and asked what is their "business" about, I received a warm answer, very warm actually, those plasma cannons almost teared my shield.

I proceeded to land a Cleaver shot on explorer's hull, but the Roc was keeping me from making any serious progress in taking out the bigger threat, so I switched target. Despite my out-maneuvering of the roc, I couldn't land a clean shot on him due to explorer's fire constantly draining my shield, not allowing me to make a joust against the bomber that wouldn't end in my vapourization, few SNAC's flew too close to my cockpit for my taste.

Thankfully, a BHG Orca class gunboat showed up and offered assistance, which I gladly accepted. The hunter proceeded to engage the gunboat, which targeted him in return as well. This brought my fight against Roc to my favor, and shortly afterwards the pilot ate a direct Cleaver antimatter shot.

In the meantime, the mollys from before showed up along one of their gunboats, called Jimmy_O'brian. They seemed to have some sort of business with those two, a business that included killing a goldfish of one of the mollys or something, they seemed angry about it though, and proceeded to assist Hunter, which was losing his fight on his own.

I decided that wasting fuel and ammo is pointless, and watched the fireworks from safe distance.
Afther the explorer has been destroyed, I gave the mollys chance to leave our space, as a thanks for assistance, which they took, and left, leaving me with private comm channel frequency in case any more corsairs or frogs showed up.

I refilled at Essex and headed back to Derby, and after about 20 minutes of scanning trade lanes and ships for contraband, I saw Valor jumping out of the Edinburgh gate! I immediately called all available assets, but only Ensign(at a time) Johnson responded, and I gave him a short request: "Derby, Challenger, Now!", I decided to use that molly frequency to call for some additional firepower, and it wasn't long since everyone arrived.

The Valor shield took heavy damage from Derby fire while it made it away from the gate, trying to cruise in direction of planet Leeds, obviously he failed. I gave order to fire at will, and bombardment ensued, after a short while the commander of valor decided that the wisest thing to do would be to run back to Edinburg, we didn't let him. during which all 3 molly ships were taken out, with just me and Johnson standing, we took quick repairs at Derby, I unloaded all pods acquired during the patrol. About the mollys, I decided to give'em a ride to Hood for all the help I got from them, a knight honor I guess.

Afterwards we decided to make a quick scan of Bretonia core systems, which brought us with a very interesting catch, at New London gate in Cambridge we found a transport hauling Gaian Wildlife! Thankfully this one was very cooperative, paid the fine as per BPA regulations and unloaded the wildlife at planet Cambridge as ordered.

Afterwards we returned to our posts and signed off.

The mollys seem to be quite... inconsistent in their relations to us, some of them attacking us on sight, other treating us as allies against common foes, still, I found those three mentioned in my report as very useful, helpful even, to our cause, what does Admiralty thinks about that?

Uh, I hope nobody minds the lenght of my reports.

Signing off.
