Good day,

I would like to report the events of the last two days, which to be honest were quite interesting.

It all started pretty quiet, with a few blockade runners, some minor Naval Forces attacks on Planet Leeds, but Battleship Derby took them out rather quickly. Pretty soon I was called to Dublin where an Armed Forces had some trouble with a Corsair bomber name Blood, so I flew my beloved Challenger out there to assist and took him out with SNAC: Guncam Shot 1
Some more blockade runners, and some more minor pirates.

End of day one.

The next day, the shift started the same way, but suddenly two kusari battleships and a destroyer popped up on scanners. After amassing a substantial bretonian force we headed to intercept. Only to see that one battleship and the destroyer had left. The battleship tagged Crying.Dragon were still there, and it were heading for Planet Leeds. So our force intercepted and the battleship started to retreat back to stokes. We followed it bringing hell over it, untill it were finally destroyed:
Guncam Shot 2
Guncam Shot 3
Guncam Shot 4

Another victory for Bretonia! Can you believe those dog eaters decide to waste an entire battleship in a measly attempt to attack Planet Leeds with a single one? Pretty bad war tactic if you ask me, but oh well.. We're winning so it's a good thing that the entire Naval Forces has an IQ of 120.... counted together.

Later I intercepted a Corsair Bomber with the name Valentine.B[TBH] Guncam Shot 5 while he were pirating near the Leeds jumphole in Dublin. The miner, who after being told to flee to Battleship Hood decided to pay the pirate one million credits after the pirate assured him that he would be killed if I were to open fire on him. The miner wouldn't listen to me, so that was his lost money. So after the miner took off I took on the Corsair. After a few minutes of even fighting my AWESOME bomber skills got the best of him: Guncam Shot 6, Guncam Shot 7

A few minutes later I saw an Armed Forces pilot fighting a Corsair pirate near Battleship Essex. And guess who it was... Well, well, well - The were Mr. Blood again. Having met my AWESOME triggerhand of doom before he decided to flee to Omega-49, right after yelling "never" when I told him to leave . I can't say I blame him. I am pretty dangerous in my bomber.... Guncam Shot 8

A few hours later we started getting reports a Corsair Battleship in Bretonia. After a few minutes of searching and chasing we got him. Or rather them. Because there were two Corsair Battleships in Dublin named Kraken and Supremo. And with them they had one measly fighter named El.Cazador.
After a little teamwork we had a small army ready to attack. And so we did. With great success:
Guncam Shot 9
Guncam Shot 10

And the fighter were chased off into the distance: Guncam Shot 11

Now see I don't get it. Why would the Corsairs send two of their battleships with only one fighter for no apparent reason? Only to sit in Dublin until the Armed Forces attacked? ... It get's me everytime I think about it. But, oh well... You should probably not dwell in the mysteries of the Corsair culture. But they better run out of battleships pretty soon, or I'm going to start to wonder where the hell they get the money to build these massive things? How do they?.. Oh, I just did that. Nevermind.

RE: Patrol Report

Sirs,

Have been running routine patrols most days throughout Bretonian core systems, with special attention to Dublin and Leeds. Nothing untoward this evening, although traffic seemed higher than normal for my shift.

I did have a discussion with one of the BIS=V=... ensigns a couple of days ago, and forwarded that information to the admiralty.

Will continue keeping an eye out in all regards.

Respectfully,

Lt. Cdr. Nathaniel Buchanan

RE: Action Report

Sirs,

Reporting my ship's destruction in Dublin last evening. I came to assist BSF against the pirates The.Comanche, The.Mohican, The.Blackhawk, and one other. Lt. Stoltz of the BSF and I stood off as the three BSF plus one bounty-board approved merc took on the pirates; we attended rather to the Corsair rookies in the area who were distracting our defenders from their proper actions. Ultimately, with two BSF downed, it became necessary for us to intervene. The fight left the debris field and moved to an area between the Essex and the New London jumpgate. There, after a long battle, my ship was destroyed along with two other BSF.

I am told that shortly thereafter three of the pirates departed while The.Comanche trolled New London. I suggest increased vigilence and improved tactics to deal with these brigands in the future.

I am only slightly injured, but am under medical observation while a new templar is outfitted for me. I should be able to return to duty in the next couple of days.

Respectfully submitted,

Lt. Cdr. Nathaniel Buchanan

RE: Patrol Report

Sirs,

Reporting from the last couple of my patrols:

1. Encountered a Mr. Nick Priestman in New London, flying a Liberty Avenger VHF with Liberty Navy ID. Upon inquiring as to his destination and intent, he informed me he was looking to join BAF, and was therefore going to the Suffolk to begin the transition process. We'll look for him in the coming days, hopefully outfitted accordingly.

2. Encountered three rookie pilots in Cambridge: Zyark, money'hoe, and DPD_DACHA. Upon asking them to identify themselves, I received a rather rude response. I went to scan them and found all with Civ IDs and extremely low leveled ships. However, I continued to receive markedly disrespectful communications from the three, so I warned them when in Bretonia to sit straight and fly right. We'll see if they heed my advice.

3. Also encountered two Corsairs in Dublin (a gunboat and a Titan, I believe), who opened fire on me just as I was attempting to use the emergency channel. I had to flee immediately to avoid certain demise. Unfortunately, in the haste, I was unable to take holocam images.

Respectfully submitted,

Lt. Cdr. Nathaniel Buchanan

Sirs,
In Leeds today a sizeable Kusari fleet was detected. Initial scans read 2 Dessies, 2 Gunboats, one of which was a 'sair sympathizer, and a VHF.
After reinforcments arrived in the name of Lt's M Clay and J Clay and several secondary fleet vessels the Kusariens where forced back to Stokes.
A few choice words where exchanged and battle commenced.
I am pleased to inform the DIS that the Kusariens and thier 'sair friend were defeated by the might of Her Majesties Forces.
Special mention should be given to HMS Redoughtable, a BS that held back in reserve in case we needed her and to several other HMS vessels, Silverton and Trafalger. Also to a MM vessel by the name of Charles Edwin, a capable pilot.

Ounce again i must submit Lt's M Clay and J Clay for commendations in the skill they should dealing with overwelming odds and to BPA)Nathan Hone for assisting in a fight he was not used to.

Report Begin

Good day sirs,
Today, I docked out of Derby. I was alerted by 4 pirates in Dublin, so I went there. When I came there, there were our old "friends", Plague.Champion, Damon.Doctore, Abelardo.Desi and Viktor.Kamaz, fighting a lone BHG gunboat. I told him to keep close to Essex, then I engaged. Shortly after, Abelardo.Desi was shot by Essex gunners. After few second, Xavier.Darkanzali came to help the pirates. After few minutes, the BHG managed to shoot Damon.Doctore, but he was destroyed few seconds after this success. I kept close to Essex, since I was alone. There Viktor.Kamaz offered me fair fight against Xavier.Darkanzali. He said: "If you win, we leave Bretonia. If you lose, we stay." I thought it would be the best choise, because I was still alone, so I agreed. During the duel, Lieutenant Commander Robert Hallam, and Lieutenant Alex Westbrook came to Dublin. They stood back as they respected the deal, although Hallam was nervous a bit. Later, also Admiral Robert Jones came there. After several minutes, I managed to destroy Xavier.Darkanzali, so I asked the others to leave. Plague.Champion left, but Viktor.Kamaz didnt. Meanwhile, Captain Ryan Williams and Commander Lawrence Winter joined us. We chased him to New London, where we stopped him. There we had a long talk with the little pirate. And we made a deal, which is good for them and for us too. This pirate gang will be free, when they make problems in Kusari. If they return, they will lose it. So we escorted Viktor.Kamaz to Tau-31, where he according to our deal, left for Kusari with his thugs.

This was very important victory for Bretonia. We got rid of one of the most dangerous group I have ever met, and we sent them to make problems in Kusari. We will have to monitor them though, in case they return.

That is all what happened today.

Lieutenant John Clay signing off.

Good day sirs,
today I went for a routine Dublin patrol when I found a Gopnik|Nakatika.Uebuka roaming around, shooting at a Molly. Molly got destroyed before I managed to help him, so we dueled for about ten minutes, after which the hostile craft capitulated to my MR shot. Those Kusarians are incredibly foolish to come into our back lines.

Brave pilots of Bretonia,

our situation is still uncertain but our efforts over the past few months brought us significant success. While still standing our ground facing the Kusarian invader as well as rampant piracy in Dublin, we worked our way to valuable achievements in diplomacy or the command chain renewal. Either on the field or behind a desk your deeds will become fruitful, if not already. However the war effort is also taking its due, and more of our men fall to the ennemies to make the other live. But I am confident that our new officers will keep up our fight, and now it's time to acknowledge the value of our finest and promising pilots.
