Armor upgrades specially developed for transports and light capital ships are cheaper and offer more protection than the universal upgrades of similar class, but occupy more cargo space. The Mk III upgrade offers you cheap, reliable protection without taking up all your cargo space. Multiplies base armor by 2.75; occupies 150 cargo space.
