Armor upgrades specially developed for transports and light capital ships are cheaper and offer more protection than the universal upgrades of similar class, but occupy more cargo space. The Mk II upgrade is mostly used on smaller transports, although some heavier bombers have been outfitted with it as well. At only a slight expense of cargo space this armor still protects a transport better than most universal armor could. Multiplies base armor by 2.5; occupies 120 cargo space.
