David Fenderson stood before the holo-com unit on the St. Gulik, preparing to address the Council. As usual when conducting Council affairs, he was attired in his old uniform from his compulsory term of service in the Priman Defense Force. Considering that the people from his world were referred to as monkeys by the rest of Sirius, due to their appearance, it couldn't hurt to look as clean-cut and civilized as possible. When he was satisfied with his appearance, he switched on the comm unit.

My Fellow Delegates, after listening to Admiral Seith's proposal, I can say that I agree entirely. The Order deserves our complete support. If it weren't for them, our holdings in the Omicrons would be destroyed by the Nomads in days. My own homeworld, Primus, would not have held out for as long as it has without the Order fighting the good fight. We should gladly give any support we can give them without leaving ourselves endangered.

As for the situation with the QCP in Omega-49, this sort of behavior is exactly what we should have expected from their kind. I hesitate to point this out, but I told you so. Trusting anyone who doesn't share our ethos is risky at best, and irresponsible at worst. I still feel that we should not allow anyone not of Zoner citizenship access to any areas outside the Gran Canaria spaceport, and should absolutely not allow them to settle there unless they plan to sever ties to their previous nation of origin. Perhaps if we evicted all those troublesome outsiders from our world, we wouldn't be in this situation at all.
With that, David closed the commlink, and went back toward the ship's control room. He had a patrol to resume, now that his business with the council was completed.

Hold off on the voting. Admiral Seith has only scratched the surface and I am arranging to have him in a closed chambers session. Voting will open once a formal proposal is made and discussed. Thank you.

i must agree with mister Fenderson. the order need more supplies then we have been sending, and i believe that they might not be able to stand up to the hunters and nomads when we, and the humen populance of siruis, need them to hold fast against the alien threat.

So long as the funds and supplies he requested go to expanding their numbers as it stands instead of life support for those already in existence, then I'll do what I can. I'd very much like to see an influx in Order recruits and not just more ships with cheap welds and bolted hulls.

Of course, I'll wait for an official proposal before offering my full judgment.

27 Delegates didn't vote on the last issue. That is a terrible turnout. Most of them will lose voting priviliges if they do not vote during the next round.

Message reads:

Well the Order has long been our ally. Increasing supplies to them in their time of need I think is something we should consider. As for their offer to assist with the QCP. I think it would be nice to have some help to deal with this little problem.

The main issue is that the Bounty Hunters guild is now placing bounties on everyone who helps the Order
Lawful contracts - Edgeworlds

This little bit is our issue

Quote:SPECIAL NOTE: Any ships actively assisting the Order is also considered bountied as well even if not specifically listed above. This includes freelancers, mercenaries, or ANY other ship, regardless of size, classification or ID. Assisting the Order includes delivering supplies directly to any Order base.

That basically declares all zoners who operate in the Omicrons bountied folk.

On a side note- the situation between OSI and the OPG, well I apologize if this causes anyone grief. Elder Sparta has gone unhinged it seems. It will be resolved in some way.

More or less, anyway. Must they be reminded that in Border and edge worlds, they don't have many safe havens to land on. They need to behave themselves. We don't meddle in their affairs so they best stay out of ours.

Bounty Hunters know that the Order is our ally. They have seen us flying Hathors. If they wanted to, they would have hunted us a long time ago.

Having said this, I would NOT make any "aid" contracts we may or may not make with the Order public!
