RE: Relocation of the Z Council to O74....

Right, mates.. Let's go! Anyone need supplies, field kit for the journey? Be sure to gimme a call first.

Lucky
A rather disheveled image of a redhead with flashing eyes wavered for a moment before coming into focus. Racous music and the clink of mugs and bottles could be heard in the background.

"Oi! This be Moira Kentigearna, and I be usin' Reggie's private fnord-box-thingie here at Hope's.

"Now, I ain't one o' ye namby pamby Zoners, nor am I enamored by some crazy lady goddess..

".. but I am enamored o' one Reggie Waverly, whom ye've seen fit t' send of to beard Harvesters in their lair, before, and t' come back after bein' frozen like a bleedin' raspberry ice!

"I'll not be offerin' t' escort the old fart t' this secret jig ye're havin'; but I will promise t' skewer any last one o' ye who doesn't see him safely there and back.

The piercing green eyes swung slowly about the room a last time before the image winked out.
The assembled Delegates, both physical and holographic, were rather amused at the sight of Minister of Defense James Ralston's Aide holding up a message flimsy in front of the hologram of Mama Dis, as if presenting it to "her" "eyes". He then bent and leaned in, as if whispering into Dis' ear, which firstly did not exist, and secondly, if it did, was situated several dozen parsecs away, enroute to Omicron 74.

The Fnordette sphere went so far as to play along, her image moving closer to first the memo, and then to the Aide's lips, bobbing occassionaly in the affirmative. The Aide then stepped back respectfully, and Dis "spoke".

Brothers and Sisters,

It seems that our guest, Minister James, is indisposed, due to an overabundance of sun, alcohol, and our delicious local seafood. He has relayed to this body that he accepts Council's decision on the Crown's request; but he begs for some assurances that the situation at Freeport 1 will be more closely monitored.

To that end, I will be requesting that Brother Mal send two of his Temple Guards to assist Captain Archer with general patrols and surveillance. I would also ask that any Delegate who may witness any suspicious activities of a confrontational nature should report the incident to the Council, with documenting evidence, if possible.

Our tenor to those who abuse our hospitality will be informational, but stern. Access to our installations is both priviledge and responsibility, and we strongly encourage all our guests to remember that.

The Chairglobe paused, and her image made a nodding motion towards the Aide standing to one side..

Please convey our assurances to Minister Ralston, sir. If anyone can heckle rowdies until they storm off in tears of frustration, it's my fellow Discordians in the TAZ. If more persuasive reminders are needed, this Council has other assets and the will to implement them. We also wish the Minister a speedy recovery from that dreadful allergic reaction. The itching should stop in a day or so.

"I.. will convey your compliments and this Council's reassurances, Madame.. Chair." The Aide bowed quickly and dashed off. Mama Dis continued..

With no objection, the motion to transfer the Council to Corinth Research Station is passed. The Bafflin' Queen has been tasked with transporting Delegates, staff, and facilities needed for our interim operation.
TAZ escorts are currently enroute to accompany the Queen, and other escorts are welcome. We could also use several medium transports to carry the remainder of our "stuff", families of staff, concubines, etc.

To propitiate the TAZ Goddess and my Namesake, and curry Her favor for this venture, Brother Mal suggests we schedule the departure for the 5th day, on the 23rd hour, SMT. Maybe She'll throw a few less asteroids and mines in our path.

I hereby declare this Council in recess, except for dire emergency matters, until we reconvene in our new Chambers on Corinth.

Greetings Sisters and Brothers,

subject: Libery Navy,

greetings Council,Delagates,brothers and sisters

When I was repairing my transponder at planet toledo
I got an emergency call from a trader near freeport 4,

I wanted to be their on time but found out that trough the alaska system was the fastest way
we traveled at full speed to the New york gate, where I was shot out of cruise by an Liberty assault cruiser
I explained to him that I had an emergency call, still he says that I had to turn back,
I cruised to the gate and docked, where I was pursuid by the Lac Gaffwn, then I got stuck in the California gate
and he with several other LSF ships destroyed my vessel, the good thing is Non of our crew is injured,
now, if those ships didnt halted me I might have saved some lifes near Fp4

I ask the council what they think of the Liberty navy's action,

greetings Jonathan Archer,
Lloyd's hologram flickers to life. Actually, it just flickers a lot. The audio - and everything else about it - is fuzzy.

Freeport 4 belongs to the Independent Miners Guild. My opinion? Let them deal with it.

And honestly, did you really expect to get through Liberty's worst-kept secret without incident? That's about as dumb as a Zoner bountying an Outcast for a violation of Freeport law that he has no evidence of.

... oh, right. That. Moving on, for the moment.

I think it's really your own fault. Be glad you made it out of there alive at all.

Now, returning to my previous remark, our 'friend' Ulysses has placed a bounty on an Outcast for a violation of a Freeport law. However, he has had no evidence to back it up. To avoid diplomatic incidents, I think we should only post bounties about such violations when we actually have evidence. This is probably less important than the matter of someone going through a classified location, but I do prefer having Freeport 10 in one piece rather than thirty.
Greetings, here Ulysses.

I apologize the fact I erased the evidences with other data, but I ask you to trust me. Also I gave all the details on the broadcasted channel, it's the most I can do.

Also I received a transmission from the Disturbia :
"I completely agree, However, The Bounty hunters who use Freeport 11 and 9 as a safe point from the order... not so much. It should not be a "Safe Haven" for anyone who is running from a fight, This could bring rivalries and personal vendettas and hatred to Our freeports."

Then, I see here a purpose for the freeport stations laws :

"All vessels engaged in a fight will not have rights to enter a freeport safe zone.
The reason will be to avoid any damages from the aggressive part due to a misfire."

I suggest here a vote, yea or nai.

To this suggestion I vote blank. I do not have any opinions about it.
