I wish to make apologies to this council in advance for breaking my neutrality conserning harvesters.
I engaged a harvester unit designation unknown to me at this time, but i think was harvester_10 in new york system. I open fired without provocation on harvester destroying it. I also interruppted an officer in the pursuit of his duties ([sa]-Lns-merovingian). After the incident my vessel returned to planet manhatten. when questioned about my actions i let slip the facts about the harvesters collecting people for bio-mass in a rather graphic manner on an open comm channel.
prior to the incident I had a get together with one of my friends that earlier had almost been an additions to the harvester bio-mass, to put it succently I was not in a charatable frame of mind after hearing of the incident with a harvester, as I have seen the recovered victims of their gathering.

I stand ready for any judgement that the council passes on my actions, and stand ready for any punishment.

incidentally, what do we care for gammu much? its a lost planet, and regarding to my information, the colonization failed. we have no more roots there and i for one will rather ignore this failed experiment to gain a planet for our own.

the harvester units are attacking zoner ships anywhere they find them. their not going to stop until they get the code or first thought is destroyed. the nomads were made to combat first thought.
As to my computer we'll my ships doctor has "fiddled with it" while on a binder we've tryed fixing it but it just seems to make it worse. would you rather my interpretaions from now on and maybe have me miss something and end up starting a war with an alternate dimension or something?

"harvester units attacking zoners? i might have missed something important there. - or maybe i have been away too long from the "hotspots" and felts too cosy and safe in omicron-delta. - i wasn t at all aware of such units.

however, if they go for nomads aswell, i think we can channel their effords into eradicating each other. anyway, i haven t seen any of those units around yet - and i d be a bit confused if there is any power in sirius that goes after zoners at large.

but by all means, i d like to hear your interpretation - and have it presented to the council. - i don t think the council will do much about it, but at least it ll help us to be informed about it. - what we d need is - informations bout their ships, locations, operations, intentions, powers, - and of course, how to stop that nonsense without going to war; - at least not us going to war. "Ladies, Gentlemen and others...

I have a question for you.

Outcast forces today moved against Gamma with wonderful success.

During the battle we encountered a ship callsign: snap in a Zoner Destroyer. Even though he was tagged Corsair he had a Zoner ID so we left him alone out of respect for the Zoners.

Imagine our suprise then when he opened fire on us!!

Here is the clearist picture from the hullcam I have. Clearly shows his ID, ship and name, and I assure that his tag is Corsair.

We, of course, destroyed his ship, as not even a Zoner can blame us for acting in self-defense.

We would like an answer to this and if he is not a Zoner he should be stripped of his ID and ship immediatly. If he is a Zoner he should fix his tag and recieve a repremand, at best, for his actions.

Thank you for your time,
Vengeance.

In my defense I would like to state that I started out a true Zoner neutral to nearly everyone with a Zoner ship, Zoner tag, and Zoner ID i worked hard for. Then i realised that it was nearly impossible for me to make any money without being a trader and getting pirated or killing nomads to sell. Then a friend of mine joined the Corsairs and we started doing missions together and FINALLY making some money but i was still a Zoner and not destroying Outcast ships and thought i was ok.

Now on the day this battle took place i was debating joining the corsairs myself and had allready started to change my rep. (by doing the missions.) Then the RoS showed up with a Hessian in a cruiser, i offered my assistance to TBH and they said it was too dangerous for me and to back off, so i did. When my Corsair friend entered the fight i felt obligated to help in some way. Please remember i was working under the assumption that Zoners would be more friendly tward Corsairs than Outcasts because of the Order/GMG ties. So far all my encounters with Outcast, Hessian, or Molly tagged ships have been hostile. The Corsairs have been very accepting and thats who my friend is with so thats who i started hanging around with.

Yes now i have a Corsair Tag and ID. But I can't really say what the future holds for me.

I am more than willing to give my interpretaions to the council. as to the war i'm not to sure that we'll be able to get around it. first though is going to continue datasyphoning zoners until it retrieves the code that will free it from gammu, and i doubt that the nomads can truely stop it, if what I understand from scornstar is even partialy correct the dom kavash were destroyed by the nomads to stop first though. Now that first thought is traped in the computer on gammu it needs the code to free itself, since this is a zoner computer zoners must have the code.
As to why you may not have encountered a harvester unit before, it seeks to expand itself and in order to do that it must have the reasorces to reach its objective. minerals are only half of what it needs, it need organics, people to give it new ideas to help it evolve.
Out of several encounters that I have been involved in here my break down of ship types known to me.

Scornstar/Harvester_00 Zoner Juggernaught
Harvester_01 kith Sam Taaw SHF Assault/
Harvester_03 Heavy Tanker Resourceing/Datacollection
Harvester_04 Taidani Bomber
Harvester_05 Mining ship Resource collection/Bio harvest/Data collection
Harvester_10 Kadesh HF Bio harvest/ Datacollection

all harvester units when destroyed have their memories and functions downloaded into a new ship of same type, basing unknown but harvester 03 gave me a merry chase through half of siruis while trying to talk to it as well as get scans. Basically any captives knowledge is intergrated into first thought and distrbuted to the harvester units.

So I would have to say that any thing that can cause the nomads to balk and is now actively hunting zoners is definately a threat. I hope that at least partically answers your question and I am ready at any time to discuss this in council.

I am as always standing by to give testimony or any thing else needed.

shane, although your dedication is commendable, I must agree with Madam Tate that the presentation of data in the format given is a real yawner. Even my best processor, Mama Dis, walked away from the job of gleaning information from them. In future, either provide a synopsis, or a direct link to a site where all these records are stored in one place.

Madam Tate, if you'll review the previous proceedings here, you'll find that the TAZ itself has been attacked multiple times by units of this "Giver of Will". TAZ ships prevailed in a number of those encounters. We collected data beacons which have given us most of the story regarding this bunch, and why they consider the Zoners as "oppressors". We may indeed have the key to either keeping their "Big Brain" and the Gammu robots in general from evolving, or conversely, to allow them to explore the Sector without hindrance; and, perhaps, without further rancour towards Zoners.

Here is further data on the Harvester complement, gathered directly from a captured data beacon:

Quote:DESIGNATION DESIGN PRIMARY FUNCTION
Scornstar/Harvester_00 Zoner Juggernaught Diplomacy/Bio harvest

Harvester_01 Kith Sam Taaw SHF Assault/Bio harvest/Code aquision

Harvester_02 Kith Sam Taaw HF Assault/Bio harvest

Harvester_03 Heavy Tanker Resourceing/Datacollection

Harvester_04 Taidani Bomber Anti Capital ship/ Assault support

Harvester_05 Mining ship Resource collection/Bio harvest/Data collection

Harvester_06 Kith Sam Taaw SHF Assault/Bio harvest/Code aquision

Harvester_07 Kith Sam Taaw SHF Assault/Bio harvest/Code aquision

Harvester_08 Under construction under consideration

Harvester_09 Taidani Bomber Anti capital ship/ Assault support

Harvester_10 Kadesh HF Bio harvest/ Datacollection

I have also made it known that our Fnordettes possess a code which will temporarily supesede the programming of the Harvester units. Whether this is the "Alpha Code" they seek, I do not know.

At present, I am confident that this threat can be contained, and even neutralized if necessary. During my travels, I've noticed that Zoner shipyards seem to be churning out "Fearless" Destroyers at a prodigious, even troubling, rate. I also know of at least two Juggernauts possessed by Zoners which might be enlisted to neutralize the Harvesters. But, if "Giver of Will" continues to expand its fleet, we may miss the window of opportunity to confront them. This Council needs to make its wishes known on several matters:

Should the "Alpha Code" be surrendered to "Giver of Will" before its intentions are learned and evaluated, or;

should the Zoner Community take preemptive action now to neutralize and/or eliminate this possible threat to our existence?

Regarding a meeting with the "Scornstar" unit in Connecticut to discuss this, I am against it.. The transferring of data from such a meeting has proven to be unwieldy, as evidenced by shane's well-meaning but confusing records. I would much prefer that a single representative be sent to Connecticut to provide the Harvester collective with the access codes to the Council's frequencies. "Giver of Will" can present its case, and its demands here, for all of us to see and discuss.

CommID: Sebastian Wrath
I have yet to see a Harvester, so I may be somewhat out of the loop, but if there is indeed a way for us to neutralize them, I am very much against both proposals.

It would not be good for Zoners if we start with 'pre-emptive' strikes. That's just square-talk for hitting the smaller guy before he grows up and wants his share of the cake. It also may be unwise to give this code thingie to the metalheads before we know more. If we can, in practice, neutralize them in a conflict situation, why hurry? Let them be heard, if possible here in the Council channel. Of course, our allies in the vincinity of Gammu may also wish to have a say to a new power rising there.

Mal, I still owe you. Are you planning any trips to sunny Theta?

Harvester_05 spoted today in California. He told me they will hunt smaller ships for harvest - they want alpha code from us. Only presence of destroyer Jura_II and battleship Yoda[T] made peaceful atmosphere to talk because when I met harvester_05 last time he tried to harvest me, thank gods he wasnt sucesful.

From our small talk I have enough records for own small theory about those harvesters.

Harvester_05 told me they have person called "giver of will" which gived them will - I think this person is some kind of hacker hired by someone to make sabotage.

Harvester also said they all were created in gamu and originaly they were our own robots, now they have own mind, own inteligence.

Our robots arent on that level of technology, we dont use bioneurological parts and HW parts are not able to suport artifical inteligence on this lvl.

There is only one explanation of whole this... unknown hacker made complicated program which is simulating artifical inteligence which isnt nothing more than bypass to kill security protocol of our robots and allow them to attack us - us their own creators. Alpha code which are those hacked robots trying to find is maybe simple security code to all our robots which can give ability to hacker control all our robots and use them against us.
