Malaclypse 666.

The Neutrality between Z.e. and liberty are mended. No longer will the capital ships crowd their space, and WAR was NEVER A MOTIVE.

Sanctions and expulsion are not necessary. I am now considering the expeditionary's complete withdrawl into the border worlds kappa and delta. as we seem incapable of handling anything else.

The Negotiations between us and liberty include that nothing larger than an advanced train from our group will enter their borders. also no fighting will proceed between any of our forces or theirs.

Alaska and omicron minor suffered two battles, the first one, liberty felt threatened by a zoner ship and destroyed it. The second involved myself, angry about the death of my colleague, and a number of order and corsairs who were angry about liberty entering Minor.

"about those so called zoners. - you must understand that what you call zoners is hardly a homogenous community of people. - the very contrary is the case. - all sorts of people who flee the tight restrictions of inner sphere house space while still believing in a peaceful living as traders or explorers are what you call zoners.

with that in mind, we get all sorts of people. businesspeople, mental people, psychopaths, brilliant scientists, crazy hunters and so on. - they all have in common that they do not like "rules" very much. the way of the zoners is not to enforce such rules - cause its those rules that we free ourselves from.

now i do of course understand your concern. - but you d have to deal with every zoner as if he or she was an independent unit. - zoners are not like corsairs. we are not bound to a group or a code. every zoner is individual and must be treated like that. - people may say they have "respect for corsairs" - and that is fine, cause they do actually mean ALL corsairs. but people cannot say they have "respect fo the zoners" cause there is no "zoners" to have respect for, - there are only a lot of very different people summed up as "zoners".

so if you do have concerns about specific zoners, - all we can do it to point them into a direction that offers the most profit for everyone and the least trouble. if they do not see reason, it it not the "zoners" you are attacking ( rethoricly or physicly ) but its rather one zoner.

of course zoners stick together, as the community is the only thing that keeps us strong. - so if you provide me with their names - i might have a word with them the next time i stumble into them on FP11.

but be aware that there is hardly much more to do about it than make them see the problems and the consequences.

in any way, violence should be the very last resort. most conflicts can be discussed with words rather than gunfire. so i am glad that you dropped a message on FP11 before things became ugly.

Hail fellow Zoners!

A terrible thing happened today, im still shaking such disrespect for us Zoners Give me just a moment to settle down.

As i was saying, a terrible thing. You see, while flying from O 41 to S 17 i stopped at Freeport 9 in O theta. My ship needed some fuel, and a crewmember had some buissnes there. All was going well until i spotted some bounty hunter ships near said Freeport. Some were waiting in space, and some undocking from the base. Nothing unusual, until i came closer

The horror those bounty hunters in space were hunting Zoners!? In front of the Freeport, the Freeport from which they just undocked. But that is not the worst part. The worst part was them laughing at me when i asked them to stop and drop those poor pilots. Laughing at me, saying, and i quote, "make us", "what are you going to do about it" and others. So brave are those hunters, when the odds are 5 battlecruisers against one BW Transport.

And when warned that i will report this to the Council they started calling us Zoners names. At that point the one known as Landor said "see, i don't have zoners in my hold", jettisoned them, andandand shot them. Killed those pilots After that they left, laughing again.
Has it come to this? No respect for us, Zoners treated as some criminals?
Something has to be done.
I'm still shaking and will remain docked for some time.

Here is a scan of Landor's hold before he shot them.
I will reveal other hunters names if the Council asks.
Sadly i was shaking too much, and failed to take shots of the whole conversation.

Captain Jura out.

I am saddened to say, that i have stopped a couple as well. It's not just bounty hunters, there have been others as well.

Of course, I have also been told by a couple of people of zoners (non-registered) chasing them away from zoner bases/planets because they were unlawful/pirates and zoners hunt pirates/unlawfuls.

I think this issue will get bigger over time unless we can come up with a solution to nip it in the bud.

If you would provide us with the names of these bounty hunters, the AW will 'extract' payment for the deaths of these pilots. Not only have they murdered other Zoners in cold blood, but have done so in Theta while we were not around.

Their ship classes would also be helpful to know. From your records we see Landor is a Battlecruiser, were the others as well?

Yes captain, the group was made of five Bounty Hunter Battlecruiser class ships. The weapons were various house made ones, plus few Zoner and Solarius turrets. And my first officer saw a Battle razor. The callsigns of those ships were: November-Rain, Lriek, Bianca-Chevalier, Landor and MrEagle. The ship with the callsign Lriek seems to be in command of that group.
I also must add that a similar situation/incident happened yesterday. And again the ships Lriek, November-Rain and some other were there.

You see, i consider Freeport 9 as my home, and when not trading or exploring i spend my time there. And i noticed an increase in Bounty Hunter capital ship there. Most of which have no respect for us Zoners. Telling us to shut up, laughing at us, shooting at us or at the base The base from which they just undocked!

I am really saddened by the recent events, and am thinking of moving to some other Freeport. I cant risk my life or the lives of my crew.

Captain of the Bounty hunter ship November-Rain.

Please accept my most sincere apologies for the fore mentioned incidents involving members of the bounty hunters guild in Omicron-Theta.
I was present and was aware the incident had taken place, other than that my involvement and influence were absent. I had no idea it was going to happen or could do anything to prevent it.

You have solid evidence to prove what took place and every right to act upon it.

The reasons for our presence in Theta are of a martial nature and as such I can not discus them, other than we had no intentions of engaging Zoners, or causing harm to Zoners.

I have no power within the BHG to bring suitable punishment to the pilot/s involved.

As a pilot whos name is listed amongst others, smeared by this incident I have but two options open to me.

1, Say and do nothing and hope in time this will all be forgotten, things go on as they did before without repeat. (I doubt it very much).

2, Speak up, offer my apologies and hope for some form of forgiveness on your part.

In the clearance of my own name, I hailed one of the Zoner pilots directly stating I had no part in this event.

As a relatively new pilot to the BHG I would appreciate instruction on how we should proceed.

I have something to say before the council, but let me first welcome back our esteemed Chairperson. Welcome back, we were getting desperate here without you.

Now, on to my problem.
It would seem being a Zoner means nothing to some. Not only that, but they will gladly take the suplies you brought to them, and few moments later they will pirate you.
But hear my story from the beginning, and think about it. It may happen to you to.

Yesterday i took some much needed supplies to rogue base Alcatraz, i was even contacted by one of their bosses and asked if we, Zoners, could help them. I will not say what they needed, but i'll tell you that were essential supplies to them. After dropping the supplies i took a rest on Alcatraz. Several hours later i left, and headed back to Manhattan to finish some planet side work. Half way there my lane was disrupted, and my ship halted by two liberty rogues. One had signs of the official rogues, the other i dont recognize. After stopping my ship they took it's shields down and asked for whole four million credits. It didn't matter that i just left their base after dropping of supplies, that i was empty or that i was a Zoner. They just laughed at me.

The rogues were known as Onyx.Wolffe and Robert Moran, Moran being from the LR. And i ask before this Council that they should not be allowed to dock on our bases again. Forgiving this offense will only show we are nothing more then petty traders. A fair game for anyone and anything.

Thank you for your time.

*Jura,

*Can you say "Escort"?

*Have you looked at our Registry lately? The Zoners seem to be the most numerous and powerful group in the Sector. I suggest you make use of that fact in future, rather than bemoan your fate at the hands of a few puny Rogues.

*Any other opinions?

Dis*
If there's a problem with them, just don't trade with them, or even go near Liberty. There are plenty other ports to trade with, eh?
