This is Vice-Admiral Fiona May of the Leviathan. With Salazar away the desicion to vote lies with me I believe.

The ZAS have our full support.

The Jupiterguild does not support this venture in any way shape or form. Buying slaves continues to feed the cycle and as such will not end the trafficing of slaves in any way shape or form.

What ever the answers are on the questions that where asked we vote against this.

I am fully aware of the causes and ramifications of Supply and Demand.

If the sale prices did increase it would be in favour of our cause, less unlawfuls would purchase them and therefore less would be traded.

I agree that cutting it of at the source would be the best option, but Liberty forces have too many other battles to fight at them moment. Both internally, and they are on the verge of war. Slavery is already illegal but Smugglers know their way around the backroads better than the law.

Also the source is impossible to find. Even with my contacts, and being a slave trader previously myself, I have never met a slaver. You meet an associate of an associate of theirs, and through him you arrange pickup and dropoff points. Even these associates have never met the Slaver, they might have a transmission code to communicate with them but know of no location or name. They receive their money and are therefore happy with this arrangement, as they themselves are not doing the illegal act.

Currently there are 3 ZAS vessels being setup, if each does only one run every three days then 2500 slaves are being removed each day. Its hard enough for Slavers to keep up with current demand, even if the number of slavers increased each group could not capture and transport an additional 2500 slaves a day. If they could then the law would be more concerned and pay more attention to this risk. Also, the more that are captured, the more risk the slave traders are putting themselves at risk of their cover being dissolved. They need to employ more men, perform less security checks, and therefore more chance of an insider being an undercover lawful.

I have tried to buy slaves several times in the past, as a trader myself, and be turned away because there aren't enough. This is a more complex industry than supply and demand. They put safety and security first.

I thank Fiona May and all of the crew on the Leviathan for their support.

Whilst we do not support the political idea of the ZAS we will deliver escorts and security if requested to our fellow zoners.

"today when i travelled through new berlin on a resupply run, i stumbled over a group of bounty hunters. - one of them was commanding one of our precious guardships - a juggernaut. i have asked the captain of the ship to present his story about how he got his hands on one of those ships before the council.

if he does not come up with a good explanation how a bounty hunter got one of our battleships - i suggest we ask the bounty hunter guild to "retrieve" the ship to lividia shipyard and demote the captain to a lower rank - cause then i would suspect that he ship was illegally aquired.

i have given the captain of the

-Ranger-THE_DEFENDER 83 New Berlin Zoner Juggernaut

one week to consider it and asked him politely to comply. - so far, i suggest we must not consider this ship to be "stolen" or in any way left to this hunters command against our will... but we should monitor his actions. - when a hunter in one of our guardships does wrong, it taints our reputation with other factions across sirius, cause they will not only see a BHG, but also a juggernaut.

if the captain fails to comply within this week ( runs out at the 23th of ocrober ) - further steps must be taken.

this short notice was just placed here to make the council aware of it... in case we get negative feedback by others about this ships actions, we can refer to it being placed before the council already

Hello, ladies and gents. I command the ZF, the Zoner Federation
I am currently having a Zoner Juggernaught called Disturbia being built in Livadia Shipyard.

//ill have an RP for it, i dont know what else i should have added to this message...

We had also noticed this vessel. After sending a message similar to your own, we received no response. Unfortunately, these 'Rangers' have already put that ship to use.. Attacking Gamma with it, along with several escorts. We were made aware of this by the Corsairs. I assured them, of course, that the ship was not under Zoner command, and we would do as much as we could to insure that the ship is retrieved.

"in that case - i suggest the weeks ultimatum counts from whenever you contacted them first. - if the week has already passed... we should initiate further steps.

my suggestion would be to contact the S/D. from what i believe, they are representing a major part of the bounty hunters guild. - it is kind of their own internal affair... and we should give them the chance to sort it out "their way".

for me, it is most important that none of our warships is involved in any action that might taint our reputation. - if the guild cannot deal with it themselves, we might ask the \JG/ to deal with it... they have always been up to assist in matters that needed a more forceful handling.

it would pain me to know that we are ordering an attack on one of our own ships - but the damage that might be done with it could be even bigger than what we d loose for disabling it.

either way - steps must be taken... one way or another.

Esteemed Delegates, it appears something is indeed rotten in Denmark..

I will for now concur that perhaps certain "higher-ups" in the Bounty Hunter community be contacted and allowed to show this "Defender" the error of his ways. Perhaps a few bottles of chardonnay to the right address will expedite things.

However, if needed, the TAZ will provide moral support and a few thousand tonnes of vessel if this ambitious bounty hunter refuses to listen to reason.

On a lighter note, I have decided that the Jupiter Guild has proven itself worthy to host the Annual Harvest Festival on Gran Canaria. Reggie Waverly and I will make ourselves available as always to judge the Dung Sculpture Competition.

I therefore move that the Jupiter Guild be recognized as the Official Hosts of the Festival for one year, with renewal pursuant to their performance.

Any objections?

"i have just returned from a tour around sirius to check in every freeport ( and pay the outcasts a visit to check some rumors about them and the keepers ) - as i have transmitted earlier, i had one of our guardships encountered in new berlin and the sigmas.

i had a long and detailed conversation with the superior of the captain as the captain himself spoke a different language but the basic one. - he was informed to appear with an explanation about how he got one of our juggernauts with the last weekend ( asked to do that on friday ). sadly i have seen that he has not managed to turn up to explain how a bounty hunter got one of our guardships.

now the question is ... shall we take further steps to bring our ship back to the lividia shipyards? - maybe we can scrape a good deal with the bounty hunters guild itself so that they take it back for us. after all, it is one of their captains flying it.

i am not really after going after this ship ourselves - it would be a sign of weakness when we had to battle one of our own ships. - it would point to a lack of organization and some factions might pull the wrong thoughts out of such an incident. - but a covered deal with the BHG could help us there.

whats the opinions of the council about that matter? - the offending captain was the juggernaut responding to the ID:

- Ranger - THE_DEFENDER

so, if i have the councils backup, i d contact the BHG to execute that task for us - i m sure they ll even do it for free if they see reason - or if we tell them that we are very generous with them in the omicrons anyway....
