Dear Council Delegates,

I am here today to direct your attention to a matter (permission granted) concerning our alliance with The Order. Aurelia Silvan, currently away on an important journey, has given the permission to me to enter your chambers and to ask you for your opinion, preferably resulting from a vote which you could open immediately.

The TAZ, the OSI, and the ZTC have already made their decisions, but Mr Brandon is explicitely appreciating the support of as many Zoners as possible.

Sincerely,
Louisa

"I've been a strong advocate, albeit a subtle one, on facing the Nomad threat and dealing with it. The Nomad threat to all people has greatly increased as I've picked up reports from various peoples across Sirius that Nomads have been sighted on a more open level, such as recently a Nomad morph was spotted just 6000 meters from Bethlehem talking, if you can call what it does talking, with a group of Lane Hackers."

"All in all, do it, you have my support, they need all the firepower and some more."

/Closed transmission.

I have always considered the Order to be the most valuable weapon that the Human Race has against the threat of the Nomads and so for this reason It would give me great pride to see the finest ship in the Order fleet being one of Zoner construction.

Zoners Read This!

William Ironfoot walked down the long hallway and into the Council Chamber and looked around, all he could see were fellow Zoner delegates shouting at one another and making animated gestures. In one corner two of the council's oldest members were actually pushing one another and on the verge of a full scale exchange of fists. Incensed by what he was witnessing, William strode quickly towards the oddly vacant chair and brought the gabble down hard onto the desk with a thunderous crack.

The people all around the great hall suddenly forgot their sentences and turned in his direction, giving him a look of annoyance for disrupting them midflow, William gave them back an equally cutting stare and began to speak, "Is this the way Zoners are meant to behave?", he paused briefly and continued, "I know you are all angry about Aurelia, but this is not how we conduct business in the Council, it is not the Zoner way! What we need now is unity and a new chairperson and the first order of business should be for us to form a committee to scrutinise every department and treaty that Ms Silvan, I mean Miss Aurelia DeFrance has ever come into contact with."

"I motion that we move to elect a new chairperson without delay, will anyone second that?"

Well now, that was moving. To be honest, you're more likely to have a decent bowel movement than a motion to replace Sister Aurelia..

..or have I missed something during my Meditations and Medications?

I'd come back and straighten you mudders out; but I fear Grayface has a commandig lead, and who wants to be straight anyway.

I abstain from moving. I move to abstain. Is there coffee?

As a Zoner who still cares for the people in this Council, I suggest you take the following measures.

1) Do some research on the people you plan to elect as Chairmen instead of blindly electing the former leader of the Asgard Warriors -- a faction that was openly allied with Lane Hackers and nearly sabotaged Zoner neutrality by conducting open war with the Brotherhood. And the person who not too long ago said:

"Despite my opinion that this council is, and has always been, a futile organization, I assume that I still need to explain a few things to the few here that are not working." -- Aurelia Silvan

2) Do a roll call to see who is and who isn't active. The only voice that we have been hearing from the Council, until a few weeks ago, has been Silvan, Silvan, and Silvan. Your former Chairwoman, recently turned secret agent Madame Sneaky, has been making one decision after the other without so much as a peep from anybody and I assume this is to do with the fact that most of you are too busy picking your noses to notice the ongoing mess.

3) Shred the Treaty of Bethlehem and approve the Security Committee so that we can finally start moving forward.

4) Declare all Gallic Royalty as "Kill on Sight" if they enter our space. Traitors deserve nothing less.

I second all of what Mr. Lightwing said but I think it's high time to implement something else first, something I long ago wanted to do before I was Chairman but was told it wasn't a high priority thing. I see now that I was correct in my assessment of the Gallic Royals.
They need much of our Zoner made iridium in Gallia for their shipbuilding at Alesia Station. They also need our Neon for much the same thing and have a strong liking of our own TAZ mined Pineal Amulets on Planet Nevers. I would like to see the Zoners unite in a complete embargo and blockade of these products going into Gallia. It would be easy to enforce as there are only two ways into Gallia, one through Languedoc and the other through Outcast space, if one is brave enough to navigate the mine field there.

I announced a short time ago that TAZ is going to stop all shipment of Pineal Amulets into Gallia. We know where they are going in the Burgundy Sytem! We don't care who's carrying them. They will be ordered to turn back or drop them ONCE. Failure to comply will result in destruction of that ship.

Yes, I know, neon is used by the Gallic Council, Maquis and Brigands, all enemies of the Royals. I would recommend that ONLY Zoner ships be allowed to run that into Gallia under escort to make sure that's where they end up.

Of the Royals, I find it hypocrytical. They call us Zoners Greedy. Heh!! This coming from a family who has taxed it's people into oppression and then wonder why they fight back. The Royals also claim all Sirians are guilty of treason for something that happened what, 400 years ago? In my opinion, based on Aurelia LeFrance's actions, they themselves are the real treasonous bastards!

Well, first things first, I personally would like to see a new chairperson, and I think we should ready a new constitution as well to make sure the mistakes of the past so not continue. I believe the Chairperson should be nothing but a representative, not a person with any significant power, as we see what has happened to us without strong institutions before.

Now on the issue of the Gallic Royal Family, I do agree with what Doctor Holliday said, but at the same time we must not treat them as Nomads. Sure, they want to destroy us, but we must keep an open mind, even if the Gallic Royals do not have one themselves.

But first things first, a new consitution, and a new Chairperson.

No Mr.Rentiera, I would not treat them as Nomads.

Nomads are an honorable foe.
The Gallic Royals have proven to be sneaky, backstabbing sons of a buscuit eater.

A possible leader-to-be for the Gallic Nation has infiltrated one of the highest positions in the Zoner community, ruled Omicron 74 with an Iron Fist and nearly ruined our neutrality (AW), dissolved SHIZL without anyone's permission, and has made the fool of you all.

The Nomads, by comparison, seem like the friendliest of people.
