I joined this council for the exact reason to have a say in zoner policy, while being directed by the discordian principles of our patron deity, Eris and also the peace loving Zoner way. Lately Siruis has been pushing the Zoner to change itself into another one of the raving trigger happy masses. To be quite honest, they are slowly getting their wish. I dont want to change, I dont want to give in, I will be a Zoner and a Discordian under our Glorious Eris. And so, I put forward my resignation from the Council. Although shortlived, I did enjoy being part of this board, I just believe that if I stay a part of this council, my ways will be in jeopardy. This is Xavier Triton on his last address.

We have nothing to prove to them. The BAF and BPI have both disowned them. They have no authority other then at the end of their guns. They have been declared pirates and we can treat them as such.

2) The QCP will respect zoner NFZs just like everyone else.

I couldn't have summarised my feelings and point of view any better than that and support this as counter proposal.

We can't start to treat unlawful trigger-happy pirates - who have nothing better to do than deliberately attack ZRT forces - like members of a lawful house.

This item is so strongly related with the NFZ Violations that it is indeed a part of them and thus a part of the Official Zoner Policies. Both items, item 6 and item 7, can be put together to one vote containing two items.

Item 7: Amendment to Official Policies (Delegate Salome)
If my suggestions are accepted this item will be decided together with item 6.

My summary ...

We have currently three items in progress

Item 1: TBH Counterproposal
Item 2: Negotiations with the QCP
Item 3: Negotiation with Admiral Seith about the CoZ' Order Support

for which we need information about the current state and probably a final vote afterwards. We should finish each of these three topics, before we can proceed with the amendments of our policies. Regarding our general policies we have

Item 4: Amendments to Official Zoner Policies - the extension of NFZ rules by a "Penal Code", and a new section for "Restricted Vessels"
Item 5: Ratification "Convention"

If possible all other motions should be placed behind the last two of our current agenda
Item 6: Chairman Election

Regarding the TBH proposal, it was passed unanimously a short time ago. I'll get with Elder Sephardi on that one but for the most part, it will open their Guard system of Omicron 91 to us for trade EXCEPT for Rhodes Shipyard and they will get to travel throughout Omicron 74, basically the Kappa JH and FP15. We also will be able to pick up some artifacts for research but don't get caught running them by the wrong people. If you do, you're on your own.

Regarding the QCP negotiations, I was PM'd by a member of the Molly leadership who asked me to "remove them from the proposal as well as Bowex." I assured him that we have already. Speaking of the proposal:

1. They can respect the NFZ like anyone else does, or is supposed to. They have a problem with that apparently. I asked one of them if they would prefer the place be a "free-for-all." He said that they didn't but they want all or none near as I can tell.

2. Port Jackson is a done deal. End of discussion.

3. Again, the Mollies have asked to not be part of the deal and they can speak for themselves. As it is, we already look after those on the planet surface. Ask my medical staff!!

4. We had nothing to do with Cork! Not no but Hell No!!

5. BMM can speak for themselves. IMG did it. Bowex did it and so can BMM.

6. Um....I do believe all bounties have been canceled.

7. I like this double talk. Aren't the Mollies enemies of the Bretonian government yet they tried speaking for them? I thought so!

8. I'm not going to be told where and where I can't fly. I fly the Tau/Kyushu/Shikoku/Kepler route often to bring deut to Ames. I guess just flying through there is doing business even though I don't stop barring a storm or something. If a Zoner is dumb enough to haul slaves then they pay the price. I also don't want a Bretonian escorting me on said route. I mean, what would the KNF think if they stopped us? Guild by association?

QCP needs to stick to what it did do very well, stopping trade to and from Kusari and leave others alone.

Not going to waste my time detailing why I'm opposed to QCP's proposal, since other folks have pretty much done it for me already. If the Mollys and BMM want into 49, they can ask for themselves.

I'd like to lend my support to Mister Nichols' counter-proposal (except point 4. Leave that out).

On top of that I'd tentatively suggest that we ban QCP from Freeport 1 for the same period of time, following their express wish to be violent in its vicinity.

Fellow delegates,

I would like to propose delegate Holliday to take over the negotiation process with the QCP representative. I also understand that certain criminal group called "Mafia" requested audience with the CoZ and I would like to suggest that we take that matter into consideration as well.

Hard times are upon us it seems, hence the hidden identity of my ship and it's location. Regarding that I would like to ask for CoZ's permission (on behalf of my brother Fateh Al Noori, member of the ZRT) to request purchase of one "Hathor" GB from the Order officials. It is needed for the protection of Zoners in the Omega and Omicron sectors. I hope this will be approved since there are much more important issues that need to be addressed.

Am I the only one disturbed by the sudden and dramatic increase in resignations? Four! In the last month! Countless others seem to have died quietly in their chairs and passed unnoticed. But for what? Well, they all have the same message! The Sector is pushing us too far. Quite frankly, they're right, we're changing for the worse. We're going the route of the Jupiter Guild, passing into extinction at the price of conformity! As I understand it, they gave Sirius their wish and were molded by their peers, and as I understand it now, the Zoners as a whole are doing the same.

I'd very much like to keep some old codgers in the Council instead of having it filled solely with fresh meat and left to chaos, yet they've all left for the same reason.

We are becoming a facade which we cannot sustain. Sirius is forcing its bloodthirsty will upon us, and we must not break nor bend lest this Council dissolve nearer the future than what any of us would like.
